So American and so WONDERFUL. You can't help but get up and dance and dance and dance. God bless all string bands in Philly. Hope they never stop

This is the best video I've seen of a string band marching in a parade during the year. I like the fact that it also includes the kick line.

Wonderful, played ,great and robustness

I have watched this video many times. The music is so catchy, the band marches and plays so well. And the captain/drum mayor-I am not sure of the correct term for the leader of a string band-your Charlie Chaplin style is just amazing.

They are Mummers. Not just any band. They are from Philadelphia.

Memories of watching the Mummers strut down Broad Street on New Years day. This was just wonderful!!

This is the th time I've listened to this since I foud this yesterday. My new wake up music , Morning Has Broken, Chopins AoleanHarp ,and now to jump out of bed Oh,oh,oh what l little moonlight can do o o. Thank for the music.

Listenng and watching again. Have string bands as a whole been recognized as a national treasure. Can you imagine❤this band at the next inauguration (regardless of who gets elected). How do weas citizens get you nominated?

If you have never been to Philly for the Mummers parade on New Years day, you gotta do it

Just thought of another old song that would fit this band perfectly. Swinging On A Hammock. Almost wore out my mom's Guy Lombardo record.

I have never seen a band like this, it sounds great and it looks funny.
