Thanks! Let us know what you come up with.
I just came across your tutorials and have to say how impressed I am with you sharing with us. I'm new to oil making and find it fascinating. Where do you purchase the oils? Is there a wholesale distributor you use? What brands do you use, and like, best? Thanks again!
👍😉. Awesome.
Thanks Tim! I've been using a similar method so you sharing this makes me feel better, the pyramid did nothing for me lol. I do find the wheel helpful though.

This is a great video as i am a beginner, so very helpful! Thank you for the great recipes as well. Can the Demeter fragrances be used to make the candles (on the site it looks like it is for making body perfume) or what brand do you use?
I appreciate you so much!!!!! thank you so much! You so so much for us starting out and you don't hold back thank you for being selfless.

Thanks for watching! So many candle makers keep their "secrets" pretty close to the vest. I don't keep any info secret from my subscribers, If someone asks it, I find them an answer.
Tim you can supply a list of companies who will list recipes on thier sites? I am having trouble finding them. Thanks!
Do you suggest using fragrance oils in making a scented soy wax instead of essential oils? I want the scent to linger in the room while the candle is lit.
Tim I used to buy a candle I believe from Timber Wick. It was a Christmas scent but they renamed it and sold through out the yr. That scent was Party Time. Are you familiar with that candle and do you know of a fragrance equivalent to it? I have just started making candles and have learned much from your videos. I’m retired and can’t work so since I love candles so much trying my hand at this. I can set up a station to work at home and work at a pace for me. Thanks for your help to all candle makers.
Do you have a video on how to make burning oils by the batch? For a diffuser
Can tell me plz can i mixt this frangeces with oil loke almod oil thanks for your efforts
Hey Tim, is it possible to extract a fragrance from everyday items? For example I would like to extract the scent used in a deodorant to mix with other scents.
Have a question I was requested to make potpourri country gardens which consists of Hyacinth violently English rhubarb Cotton Rose and must accents any recommendations on that
Great information! I love how you explain everything. If you dont mind, I would like to suggest trying to make the video's a bit more concise. There are periods where you repeat yourself, which makes the video longer. Thank you for the great explainations!
Can i use freshly created scents right away? I read somewhere that it needs to sit at least a month before you can use it on candles?
I've been looking for a gunpowder FO. I only found one in the states at candle makers store but I'm not impressed with it. Anyone have a recipe for gunpowder????
Can you do the same using essential oils?
Since you are measuring 1/10 of an ounce, are you weighing the fragrances in grams?
How do you make a larger batch ?
Did you find the winners for the 3 give away fragrance bottles??
👍

I’m horrible at math, how do scale up from the Q-tip. Like if you did 2 Q-tip same oil to 1 Q-tip? How would that work out in oz? Thank you!!!
@TimberRidgeGifts
5 жыл бұрын
The q-tip test is just a quick reference. You wouldn't really scale up from there. Part two of the testing is where you use measurable amounts that you can later scale up
Great Tutorial! All I got to figure out what is 10th of an oz.! Lol I hate math!!
I'm still confused on what process/system you used to choose your 3 scents. You mentioned to not use the pyramid but didn't suggest an alternative way to pick 3! HELP! :) (Or did I just miss this info?)

The point I was making was not to overthink it. If you find 2 or 3 scents that really rock together, then go for it! Who really cares what some expert says should and should not mix, when you've got the awesome proof right there in front of you that you just mixed.
Awesome idea again, can you pretty please tell me what scents to start with for grandpas chair,? Thanks so much my buddy
