I'm torn about these guys. Love watching the chases and I understand the feeling, the rush, the skill & excitement involved BUT it's still incredibly reckless and selfish. I mean as hobbies go, high speed joyriding is extremely dangerous not only for the driver but everyone else on the road. I guess that's what's attractive as well but still nobody is entitled to put civilians in harms way this way.

I wrote about Fragglarn for a sociology paper on ideal vs. real culture. Fragglarn is my example of real sociological culture. Dude is as real as it gets. I have an E90 M3. I stated in the paper that he is my spirit animal. I was going to site his pure automotive savagery, but then I realized that he isn't savage at all... just really really good. Always redefining the edge of his ability, hence the F80 crash. Stick to the natural aspiration... it suits him better than boost, his driving flow.

The whole bit about them paying attention to their surroundings when they're driving and shit is absolute horseshit lmao. They go past blind junctions at like 100mph, they have absolutely no idea if someone's about to pull out, and if they did that's it, game over. At that speed there is zero chance they can avoid a collision. The fact they haven't had a big crash like that is pure luck, nothing else.
