Glad you liked it! I never pass up a LOTR reference. Thanks for watching!
Superb work. You made it easy to understand. Need more on fracture mechanics from your end to learn.

I'll definitely keep that in mind, and if I have a chance to teach an elective or something, that will help me reserve the time for developing a series like that. Thanks for watching!

@@TheBomPE Watching your videos reminds me of a dynamic professor who used to teach us at the university. Still, there are few people having such clarity of thoughts. With this, I would like to ask what lifestyle do you follow? Just reading more and more doesn't make one genius.

I guess I just love the material I teach. I feel like I've been gifted by God with certain intuitions and passions, and I love teaching. I've also done a fair amount of mechanic work in my time, so that helps inform me about how some mechanical things tend to be done. I enjoy math and tackling difficult but useful problems. But I'm a pretty plain husband and father of 2 though, when it comes right down to it. :)
So helpful lecture!

Great video Sir! I want to ask you if you can explain in other videos the Kitagawa Tagahashi diagram and it's relationship to the fracture toughness of materials!

Nice vid
great lecturer sir I want to ask one question what is the effect of temperature on fracture toughness of material, while going high temperature fracture toughness decreases compared to room temperature test.

Increasing temperature accelerates the diffusion process of atoms, accelerating crack propagation.
nice course
