    Honestly lol. It's not his fault, he's very intelligent, but the cadence of your voice is a little fast and you're very assumptive in how others understand math. You sped up at the most important part, which is, arriving at the actual answer to the problem. You should structure your videos so that you solve the problems first and then add the personality, and slow the cadency to .5x. If you do that you'll be a legend.

    You had a really good attempt but problem is we don't know what you are actually referring to most of the time, the number above? Or above that? Or in your head? They all sound very similar... Some of them m the same answer so.... You don't manage to explain this to someone who doesn't already know how to do it.

    The simpler solution to the last problem is having (2^1/2)^3 as common factor of both terms. Then simply multiply (1/2)(3/1). Final answer is still 2^3/2. No need to make the steps complicated

    I don't understand all the complaints in the comments, this isn't hard at all. I supposed its hard because you actually have to remember the process, but that's part of learning. Great process, well laid out and no lazy shortcuts. Better to learn it right the first time instead of doing a quick workaround and finding that you quick fix doesn't work in all scenarios.

  • @TortureBot

    @TortureBot

    5 жыл бұрын

    I know this is an old comment, but he got it by factoring. When you factor, you place something that is a common factor (can be multiplied by something else to get each of the 2 terms) to the left of the set of parenthesis. That "factor", if multiplied by each of the 2 terms NOW in parenthesis will equal what you started with. So x^3 times x^2 equals x^5 AND x^3 times -1 equals -x^3. (or MINUS x^3) Just remember to always keep the negative symbol with your 2nd term, it's not just a minus symbol, but showing you the second term is basically negative.

    It would be easier to follow if he didn't repeat some of the things 3 or 4 times, like (2^1/2)^2=2. Because if I'm on a particular train of thought but then you just stop and keep repeating yourself, it's like running into a brick wall. Anybody who reads this, please don't do that if you decide to be a math tutor. Aside from that he obviously understands the concept or I wouldn't have watched.
