1) I pre-purchased, and so far my mind hasn't been changed; granted I'm still trying to get my GW2 mechanics knowledge level up to my D&D level, so I tend to rely on the knowledgeable commentary of people like you, Mukluk, Teapot, and Laranity to supplement my lack of understanding. 2) I'm on Twitch occasionally--mostly when I have some free time in mornings or evenings, and I try to comment when appropriate.

I pre-ordered the ultimate edition of Janthir because of the 4k gems and the set of infinite gathering tools that I never had. I'm also really looking forward to engineer spear because it will improve CC and damage output of my Condi Alac Mech build that I play with Mace/Pistol and celestial gear. Also I'm hyped about elementalist spear, since I only play elementalist in open world it will seriously improve the feel of the class when you have a strong long range power weapon. And hopefully warrior spear is gonna be good for ranged damage too because I think warrior is lacking ranged damage.

I can't wait to see you play some WvW, that's always been my favorite, despite the lack of love over the years. Q1.) No, my mind's still pretty set about Janthir Wilds. I haven't pre-ordered, and I won't. The last expansion I preordered was PoF. Too many things since then in competitve modes, narrative, and organized pve content have just disappointed me. So my rule with ANet now is to wait and see. It's like 99% that I'll buy it since I do love the game despite all its inconsistency and issues, but I don't... hmm... I'm not some super fan all hyped at the front of the queue, lol, not anymore. Q2.) Livestreams... typically aren't my thing at all. There's been one or two streamers over the years I've made exceptions for, though. (I used to watch PeerlessXan stream his WvW roaming, super nice, relaxed, and funny guy - he has some hilarious compilations on his YT channel as well, even though he quit awhile ago) I'm not a fan of that hyper-energized thing so many streamers have. Constant tone shifts, chat going sideways and the streamer struggling with griefers, I dunno, lol, it definitely seems difficult to stream, I admire the ones who can do it in a relaxed way. I prefer chill vibes, and few streamers really hit that note for me, so I stick with KZread. If you decided to do some weekend morning streams on YT, I'd definitely tune in Sil!

Question 1) I pre-ordered it(basic edition). Despite SOTO not being amazing, I still had some fun with it. I guess the fanboy in me is willing to forgive Anet on mistakes they made since I've been with them since around the time they released GW1 lol Question 2) I mainly hang around KZread I do go on Twitch sometimes but mainly to watch VOD's as It's hard for me to catch people I'm following live and even if I do catch them live I usually don't get to stay around and watch them for long before I have to leave to do other things.

I haven't watched your stream appearances but if you feel like they didn't go ok it's worth remembering that people like teapot have been doing this for a long time and have made it into a career they have the experience to present themselves in front of an audience on stream and be engaging and charismatic that's just a skill you have to develop through practice. as for ur questions: 1. I haven't pre-ordered as i don't quite have the money for it right now, being poor makes you quite a patient gamer 2. I don't really use twitch or watch streams as it's just not my cup of tea, i'll occassionally check out highlights from streamers like northernlion thouhg as he is very entertaining. it's really funny hearing your Envoy I collection woes, i'm kinda in the same boat a few weeks ago i decided to jump into raids on a whim and i have a few clears of wings 1 through 3 and one clear of wing 1 i'm also waiting for sprit threads and the ectoplasmic goo for it. I'm really enjoying the raids though and all the PUGs i join in the lfg have kp requirements but i've been joining and keeping quiet and hoping they don't notice that i don't link my kp account (i had no idea how to use that website and had to ask a guild mate to help me set it up)

Would putting dungeons in the wizard’s vault daily and weekly increase incentive for players to engage in an otherwise dead content?

I preordered JW within hours of the page going up, and even bought the ultimate edition. As disappointing as SOTO was, I was always going to be buying the next expansion and I will continue to do so for as long as I'm actively playing the game. Also having seen all the spear previews now, mesmer looks super cool, but I am a mesmer main so maybe I'm just biased lol. I'm mostly looking at it from a perspective of my open world power mirage though. In group content I play support only and the spear isn't gonna fit in there I think, but it might be a fun replacement for scepter/shield on heal chrono? Seems like phantasm generation will be nice on it so you can really put out a big alac/quick burst and then be more relaxed for a bit as mechanics are going on or whatever. Sounds plausible on paper but time will tell if that's how it actually shakes out. I enjoyed the podcast, and if you hadn't told us that you were new to it and had your reservations about how you appeared, I frankly would have never known. Learning and improving are still good, of course, but from what I can see if this is the baseline you're working with, you're gonna be just fine and maybe all you need to get more comfortable is just more experience.

Power Chrono is fine for W4, power creep is in full effext id honestly do any wing that doesnt literally require a mastery you dont have like W3 leyline, its just condi is easier on Cairn

I’m pretty sure their Stronghold mode was a take on MOBA PvP but people raged about it and they didn’t put in the work to fix it. I always thought it could be fun if they tried to work on it… I thought it was refreshing 🤷‍♂️

Twitch and youtube for me for gw2 content is kinda a 50/50, I only really watch laranity and mukluk on twitch cause they stream during the timezone when I play gw2 soooo timezone plays a huge part as to who I watch on twitch

I think being a podcast guest is a regular skill. When you did it like 3-5 times you more or less know what you need to cover and how ppl recieve it so stress factor kind of melt away you just playing your part... as for questions 1) i think i ll get it to see for myself i want to finish some stuff for my account and i cant see i am done before new expansion release 2) i am only a youtube viewer, twich format just not my thing its get boring to fast for me.

Q1. Has Anet changed your mind about Janthir Wilds? A1. The release cadence of annual expacs is what's turning me away. Unless an expac is made for updating older systems, they will never get touched again. Now, I don't believe there to be, enough developer resources to maintain older things in the game. SOTO, LFG, dungeons, crafting, and even Janthir Wilds after it's released won't be worked on again. I'd reinstall to if a deicaded dev team worked on these old systems, or the homies wanted to play. I'm not above reinstalling for the homies. Q2. Do you interact with with Livestreams? A2. Only for friends I'd play with ingame and talk to in Discord/Teamspeak. Watching a streamer is difficult for me, because without some connection I feel like a product. I'd check out your stream. Telling you now, you'll really need to lock in your auto-pilot. I've tried getting into watching streaming, and it blows to never have the streamer interact with the audience. Even the lurkers enjoy back and forth. Even if you focus up on the game just voice that. The silence is what kills the stream for me. I'm the Snowball Mayham guy lol. Glad to see your channel grow man. All the work that goes into editing the videos, keeping active on the platform, and expanding your channel don't go unnoticed :j have a good Monday.

I knew it was someone i recognized who mentioned snowball mayhem lol. I dont really go lurk in twitch, i'll pop around on youtube here and there but i dont have too much time to actually watch or get involved in those chat communities tbh. The release cadence is definitely slow for a "Solo game" for me, im playing CATCHUP on years of content, and im still able to pseudo-maintain my main account with like sub 10 hours a week of playtime. Thanks for your support even though youre playing other things- i will say that it sometimes is a challenge to get even the Z2H episode out weekly, but im trying to keep it as an "Anchor" to the upload cycle. Now that i released the W2 Guide, i'll be working on my next big meta video which might make some waves. Hope you had a great week!

Skip the streaming, I bet there are alot of ppl like me who don't have time to tune into livestreams, then later sift through a 4 hour long video to find the good bits. Streamers are generally either boring or too hyped up to watch. The only livestreams I can watch are those 24/7 radio ones.

I'm probably not going to start. I'll explain more on the next z2h but it's pretty distinctly different from a creator standpoint than youtube. I enjoy making videos and sharing thoughts on different topics but I think streaming is another animal. Better to spend my time making videos tbh.

​@@SilhouetteGaming1yeah ur good at making videos so keep on at it (y) seen many "go under" from streaming. If you accidentaly say something "bad" in the heat of the moment people will shit bricks and come with pitchforks and torches. The climate is too toxic in this age for streaming tbh.

@Alex-wg7gt yeah I was just more curious about my audience than anything. I think I prefer youtube because you can I can explore concepts in a more entertaining way. But I'm happy to hear your thoughts on the topic! I'll go more in depth later.
