Beautiful. Visually, it almost seems an oil painting. Great light or light work anyway. Music sticks perfectly, rendering that kind of dream distance and yet that warm relationship to reality.

If an ambient guitar fell in a forest, would anyone hear it?

I've been Fractal FM3 for a year now! Broke my pedal addiction! It's so deep, I'll never find my way back (p.s. - I don't want to!)

Great video, love your Music and your approach to making music. I would love som more videos on making ambient guitar music, using fractal. I have recreated some of your boards using my axe fx 3. Have a great weekend Greetings from Denmark

never tried slapback delays with an ambient stuff.. should work like a phasing effect with volume swells - it's a good idea!

I loved the color scheme of this video! Really went with the whole vibe of the tune. For Fractal presets I’d be interested to see a video or two where you recreate some of your favorite ambient guitar tones with it

Hei Bill, inspiring video. Playing in the Woods is something i like to try myself here in Norway. Good to see you got more bonded with the FM9. You should try the new firmware beta 7. It came out yesterday and adds a lot of magic to the amps and there is a killdry option for the parallel FX. I am very interested in your patch. I can share some of mine if you like. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for all your videos. How long can you play with your Bluetti EB55 Power Station ?

  • @chordsoforion

It depends on how much current your rig is drawing. Bluetti say this about the EB55: "Working time (estimation) = 537Wh* 0.85 / operating power of your device. (0.85=Conversion Rate) ( Note: The actual working time may vary under different situations.)". So for my 54 watt rig, the runtime would be 8 hours or so. I suspect less because of wattage peaking in the speakers, so I would guess closer to 6 hours.

So, I mentioned in that video that I was committing to work with the FM9 more to see if I could do more with it. I've been working with the amp modeling section in particular, and am starting to get the hang of creating amp sounds I really like. So no EBay for. this unit at this time! :-)

Can't put my finger on it but the sound quality seems better than your pedal board tunes. Did the daw mixing methods change? Or do all of these all in one boxes just sound better?
