In this video I look at some of the Marshall Amp presets in the Fractal FM3. There are some pretty tasty sounds coming out of this unit as far as Marshall tones go. My brand new FM3 MkII Turbo was literally just delivered about half an hour ago! My personal budget would of never allowed for such an extravagantly top tier piece of gear. My uncle seriously just randomly freakin' gifted it to me as sort of a thank you for recently helping out his son and granddaughter! Not gonna lie, I'm genuinely freakin' speechless and starting to tear up a bit as I'm typing this! Mind absolutely blown! Damn... Just wow!
Man Rich - these tones are just amazing. Killer stuff. So rich and smooth. The gain settings are just nuts. Hope all is well out there, Brother.

I just dropped off my 2 studio-kept, immaculate Marshal JCM 800 full stacks to my local Goodwill. Seattle area. My Fractal just makes them obsolete. Go get 'em, boys. They're all yours.

Thanks Rich! Very helpful - have you tried any of the Friedman or Orange presets and if so what did you think? Do you use it as an audio interface and record direct?

I've tried both. I like the Friedman presets a lot. I use it for direct recording all the time. That is how I use ir the most.

Are all the presets awash with delays? Can these be bypassed easily without editing the preset?

Yes, very easy to bypass, and no not all awash. Each preset has scenes. With less effects all the way to dry and some to very wet.
Is this a factory preset? If not where can I download this tone please?

What amp would you recommend playing through? I play classic metal. Not talking about the fractal but the actual amp.
