Please pray for me, I’m current,y applying for seminary... after my journey back into the Catholic Church. I never thought I would be interested into the priesthood. My aunt kept telling me that she was always praying for me to be a priest. I kept on saying “heck no. Yeah right”. Now I’m here lol

Boo Duong, I had been praying for priests. Unfortunately, it kind of gotten on the way side and stopped. Recently however, I happened to join an EWTN Holy Rosary prayer and a novena to St John Vianney for an increase in priestly vocation. And so now, I am back into this prayer and petition. I have 4 grandsons and I have been praying for at least one or ALL of them to become holy Priests and my 3 granddaughters to become holy nuns (shhhhh, they don’t know). It’s all in God’s hands🙏🙏🙏. Anyway, Bao Duong, I hope you are now in seminary. I am praying for you. God bless🙏❤️🙏

Fr. Waltz, I stumbled upon this video while watching some of Father Robert Barron's videos and all I can say is, "wow". I have felt a very strong pull to the priesthood for a few years now but after watching this, I think I'm ready to make a call to my vocation's Director. Bless you for your priesthood and ministry

I must have heard this vocation story about 10 times now, I started going to the Dominican Rite in Portland around 6am everymorning since I started listening (1 week ago). My day seems to be lighter of any stress and burden when I receive the Holy Host every morning. Didn't know I have such a thirst for Jesus. Thank you and God bless you father Joshua Waltz.

Because I do not have any vocation call, I thought I wouldn't even finish listening to his story. But, there was something captivating, amusing and touching part in his story. and I was a really good feeling that there is the same God who guided him that way, He might be leading me on His own way.. whenever I have uncertainty in faith, I love to hear this vocation story. Because he was a normal person before he become a priest, I feel like I can connect to his story. Thank you Fr. Joshua Waltz.

That's the sin of clericalism has you even thinking such a thing. Like the the priests and religious the only ones have a 'vocation'. Above everyone else. That's bullshit. You are called equally and to the same degree to image God - the love of God in the world. Catherine of Sienna said it best, "Become who God means you to be and set the world on fire !" :)
