Could you please tell me what you mean by ‘stop being over smart...’ I asked you two simple easy answerable genuine questions. Instead of giving straight forward answers, your words seems improper. When you use words improperly it’s like water spilled on the ground which cannot be recovered. As the point of the topic is related to a priest speech I do not like to use the same words as yours All I can suggest is focus your eyes on Jesus so that His blessings will fall on you .
