The argument about abortion or contraception being abhorrent because of it being against natural law doesn’t make sense because following that logic it would be against natural law to seek medical intervention if you are sick. If you truly believe that to be the case. If it is a law it is to be believed and applied in all circumstances. I’m sure if the Priest collapsed clutching his chest I would want to know if Matt Fradd would attempt CPR or watch as natural law does its thing.

@@MarkyMarkJ CPR is under the umbrella of natural law, natural law includes all of us learning valuable skills, learning about medicines and treatments available in our world, doctors studying remedies to illness. These types of things are good, and promote health and life. Love thy neighbor as yourself, obey this and you will grow closer to God, if you obey this command, are you going to destroy another person in the womb?

I have listened to this episode in my podcast app three times. Fr Gregory may have single handedly set my faith on fire. His description of heaven is so beautiful, so rich, I have yearned my whole life to yearn for for heaven as I do now. As beautiful as my life is (and I am so blessed), I could spend the rest of my life just sitting with a glass of wine and listening to this man speak Truth to me, and I would be fulfilled. Ah! Beautiful! Please have Fr Gregory on again! And again!

44:31 Yes, this is how I understood liberty! From an art perspective at least. I "confined" myself to learning how to draw/paint the human form, and now I'm free to illustrate whatever I can imagine. Too many people with an artistic bent are trapped by their inability to portray what's in their minds. Even though they didn't go through a rigorous or difficult regimen, they aren't free to do what they want.

Around 134, the conversation centers around heaven and hell reflecting our earthly lives and that we will be somehow marked or have signs of how we lived our earthly lives while in heaven, so how does this work for the souls of those aborted before birth or who die as very young infants when they have had no opportunity to direct their own lives and make choices about it, or put in a more negative way, never had the opportunity to willing accept Jesus. Do they just appear in heaven fully formed as a new being without any prior knowledge of real life or having experienced testing within it, and think, yeah, this is nice !, what's for tea? A genuine question I find puzzling, I'm sure somebody has an answer. Matt or Probably Fr Pine?

Fr Gregory's intellectual capacity is vast..I've gained some very useful insights from this long discussion particularly the last hour.
