They wanted to shut him up. He Always spoke the truth. He was very vulnerable and it was a perfect opportunity to get rid of him, while they passed along preditors to hurt us. We love, pray and miss him and need him. God bless you Father. You enriched and brought innumerable back to the Faith of Christ and we and the Blessed Mother know it.

What Father John Corapi is preaching is doctrinally correct! I admire his courage in telling truth no matter who gets offended. Will the critics point out where he diverged from the Catechism or the magisterium of the Church?

'He has fallen' is such a sad statement. Just like all the apparitions of Our Blessed Mother which are not approved by the church because she speaks of the apostasy within the hierarchy, in like manner when he spoke of a clergy gone wro g he was vilified in the most vile manner. With pastors like his detractors, who needs enemies.

"Capitalist" military intervention did not end the Soviet Union, it did not end Mao's regime, or Pol Pot's, nor did it in Nicaragua. Communism is a Stalinist interpretation of Marxism, and Socialism doesn't fall far from the tree. Socialized medicine merges services and results in less care for less people. Any ad hoc researcher knows this about the Canadian and UK medical system. ...and, by the way, we don't have a true Capitalist system here in America, and haven't for a very long time.

Its all about the heart & who you serve. What if you make $100k helping people (like a doctor) & still live for God & follow commandments & strive to be a servant of His? Give to poor, help & feed the hungry, etc? He has $ to help so this isn't evil. Is it all about what one does with it & where his heart is

Ever heard of distributionism? Many support this. You have misunderstanding of this b/c this IS NOT force. The Church asks "will you help this person" whereas the State says "you WILL have this person". 2 different concepts. You think the Church promotes something it condemns. You misunderstand things.

@ohmgrown1991 wrong. Greed is condemned not money. People can make lots of money & do great things with it. That isn't evil. What is evil is making money into a god or being evil to obtain more. Being moral & living a virutous life. Poor in spirit does not mean poor in wallet or checking account but being poor can be great for soul (see Mother Theresa's order of nuns). Rich in worldy things as in being in love w/ worldly things & having as a goal to obtain more. One doesn't need a 100k

The reason why services like Amtrak and the mail is provided for by the Government is because they are necessary services that can't be offered profitably and affordably, by private enterprise. Same with defense. Healthcare in the United States, which costs more per person than any other westernized country, has proved itself (and I've personally heard many, many stories), has become this. Inurance (while you don't like it) is most efficient with the broadest distribution of risk (i.e. social

Public postage is far less expensive, and is provided at a cost in which people of moderate means, can afford to use. If FedEx can match this cost, why isn't it? However, my point is not to discredit private enterprise. I just don't believe that it is justifiable in all circumstances. The problem happens when business gets done by corporations who start to collude, as opposed to compete with each other, as an industry. This is what has happened to health care.

I'm sorry to hear this. However, to me, this just adds to the need for guarrenteed, basic health care for all citizens. It doesn't mean that Church groups can't help, it doesn't make doctors public servants, it shouldn't imply that doctors will have to close their clinics at a certain time of day, nor does it imply that you shouldn't be able to see the doctor of your choice. In many ways, health care is being regulated by the industies involved, resulting in doctor shortages, high pharma cost

Did some work instead of sitting on their butts watching foot ball and MTV, stop listening to lies. Their health would improve. They wouldn't need to run to a so called health care provider for pharmaceuticals, chemical bandaids. The same people who buy stocks in Chemical laden food companies buy stock in the pharmaceutical companies that hand out the bandaids for what the processed food induced. The communist/socialist parties live at one level, all the rest are equal under them. They never live like the people they say they are helping.

Imaging paying the price of FedEx for every letter you send! Leaving healthcare to the wims of supply and demand means health care by the upper class, for the upper class. Health insurance provided by unelected, unaccountable financial services agencies (i.e. insurance companies) run counter to the efficient distribution of insurance (i.e. the broadest distribution of risk). If one doesn't want public insurance to pay for them, they can keep their insurance card at home, and pay for their own

Michael Coren is a conservative Catholic, but he no way endorces the type of system which exists in the States. You'll be hard to find one. There are certainly those who argue for a two, or three-tier health care system, allowing for universal health care for basic services, and higher cost health care for more elective, or state-of-the-art health care, but not unbridaled supply and demand based health-care.

Years ago, churches were responsible for these services, but the Catholic church today is having a tough enough time just paying priests, attendance is poor, and most parishioners aren't giving their 15% tief, and the hospitals are for for profit.
