yes. therefore it is safe to do long term ora short term (maybe few weeks or months) investment in the stock market rather than getting involved in intra-day trading. long term investment will also make you money via dividends

Dear Shubham, I am a student at Thapar University, which is a tier 2 university in India. I am interested in a career in high-frequency trading (HFT). I know that you have made some videos on HFT firms, and in one of your videos you mentioned that these firms tend to prefer candidates from top tier colleges. I am wondering if you think it is possible for me to get a job at an HFT firm if I complete the online IIT Madras BS degree in data science and perform well. I am confident that I have the skills and aptitude to succeed in HFT, but I am aware that my college background may be a disadvantage. I have worked in FPGA design for many years and I am interested in applying that skill in trading companies. As far as my research I have seen only software developers or quant developer jobs. Can you suggest if there are any FPGA jobs?

Prepare well but chances still will be slim, Usually only triple digit rankers are hired.
