Lyrics:
It ain't over
The late sun shown on Botanic Park
Then a little cloud came and it got dark
Through the light taste of spring I could smell cheap wine
With some people typically drank near a no alcohol sign
I couldn't seem to get the day through
It ain't over baby blue
I won't say it if it's not true
Like a regular Mathieu Delarue
A light rain fell over Belfast town
Old men were smoking in the alley at around three
On the autumn wind I heard a mother sigh
Somewhere in the distance I could hear children crying
I couldn't seem to get the day through
It ain't over baby blue
I won't say it if it's not true
Like a regular Mathieu Delarue
The moon shown bright but what floored me
The alluring beauty of the shadows cast by the trees
Like a noble knight stood an old church spire
And the air was filled with smoke from the night fires
I couldn't seem to get the day through
It ain't over baby blue
I won't say it if it's not true
Like a regular Mathieu Delarue
I tried I cried and I filled the pages
It ain't over baby blue
The words they made me ageless
It ain't over baby blue
The fire burned up love and rage yes
It ain't over baby blue
I bent the bars and fled the cage yet
It ain't over

Good lord yes
I was brought here by KZread AI algorithm, the scariest thing of digital world. And it brought me to this pure, wonderful masterpiece, played by two men with acoustic instruments, where even the foot bass accordion is working due to pulling of string. This is the most beautiful interpretation of real world.

Hello Larissa..
This is hauntingly beautiful. It stings the heart in a way that reminds me what it is to feel alive.
Real, human music.... It's like a breeze of fresh air...
Ive been listening to Foy for as long as i can remember, the fact he can still write songs like this just blows my mind. One of the most underrated musicians out there, would love to see him do a duet with Gregory Alan Isakov

Wow, this man deserves much more recognition
Imposible not to cry listening to this song and thinking of my dog. He passed away 4 months ago and I miss him deaply. Hope to see you again Paco. Love you.
This piece reminds me of pine trees, smell of wet moss, cold mornings and woollen shawls. Reminds me of simpler times, of curiosity , of old wood , wet stones near the creek. A deep breath, to forget it all.
Listening to this song for the first time while an epic thunder storm rolled through Boston was simply perfection

Can still remember the first time I saw Foy live 10 years ago, and his lyricism and writing still leave me speechless every time. Up there with the best in the world. Criminally underrated.
Met Foy in the street yesterday. Absolute gentleman. Took the time to stop and listen to me tell him that I love his music. Smashing bloke!! 👍🎸🏴
This is pure joy for my soul. Just seeing two men performing such a lovely song in beautiful untouched nature.
Nothing sent me here, I love Foy Vance. He’s such a great story teller and feels it all deeply. I have his CDs but my car CD player is broken and I’m one of those that has to breath music and I keep singing along even at red lights. When I’m singing along with Foy Vance, nothing else matters. ❤
The fact that this does not have millions of views is a literal crime

Reminds me of what I wanted as a child. It was simple, it was pure. I want to be the real me, but can I?

Don't remember the last time I heard something this beautiful. Thank you.
Im listening to this beauty while watching the sunset. Living my heaven on Earth right now.
just something emotional about this setup. two good looking european men in their native lands singing a fine song
Fire Country brought me here. New Fan - It ain't over baby blue !!!!
Been on repeat for weeks, in utter awe. Need to see this live.
This is good medicine for the weary soul
In a world filled with incredible musicians, this just might be the best thing I've ever listened to. Amazing.
Song is so beautifully written...it pierces through my soul every time...
Fance is king, Fance is the way. Brother, an honour to listen to your poetic magic. Thank you from South Africa!
Thank you, instilling hope, that boat my yet float again, it ain't over.
Some songs make you feel good and some happy others make you wanna dance some bring you to deep contemplation. Then there are those that hit a spiritual note on your deepest emotion. the words the voice of the artist and hum of the instruments soft chords of the guitar that twang out loud suddenly and reverberate in you heart. very few songs bring this out of me. Thank you Foy for your music that sings to our souls.

You put it it beautifully. This song makes me long for the ancient places where I come from but have never seen.
This song reminds me of the great days of my youth, of the world long ago gone, of the tangible dreams that no longer exist in this day and age when the Kali-Yuga has eaten everything that once had worth. -E.K.
I cant process how beautiful this is. Raw genius.
Thank you.❤️ April

I only discovered Foy recently, but better late than never, as I am enjoying his voice and lyrics so, so much. I doe's not bother me that he is not nearly as widely acclaimed as he should be, other than that he deserves to be, but having Ed Sheeran as a fan, speaks volumes.
I've been looking for the most beautiful. This is the most beautiful
A 'BIG THANKS' Foy. I needed that.
I’ve been a fan from the beginning that I heard the song “Make it Rain “ I fall for his pure voice 🥰
