Foxfield Railway - 'Austerity' 0-6-0ST 'Wimblebury' at Dilhorne Colliery - 29 December 2013. A photo charter organised by Richard Newton of the 3P20 Parcels Group with the hard working and barking Austerity tank. Shot on a bright sunny day with frost on the ground, enjoy the spectacle of 'Wimblebury' thrashing hard up the bank out of Dilhorne Colliery. The sound effects reverberating around the old mine buildings are awesome!
Shot with a Nikon V11 Compact System Camera with a Rode microphone.

What a glint! Thanks for sharing.
Lovely clips there Mike!
I thinki will pay a visit there one day ...never heard of it before...
Fabulous light Mike ... you were very lucky. The driver of this Hunslet made a super job of simulating hard work ... I'm sure 7 wagons was a walk in the park for the loco. I'm really looking forward to living alongside this line in 2014 ... we have several houses on our list already.

It sounded awesome too - a really crisp exhaust that echoed back off the buildings around. You'll be one lucky couple to be able to live with that at the bottom of the garden. :-)
For sheer grunt it is hard to beat an Austerity! (Fondly remembered from a Canterbury and District Model Engineers' visit to Snowdown Colliery, Kent. BTW does anyone know what happened to Snowdown's Austerity and Avonside 0-6-0s? and not to forget, their friendly and welcoming crew too)
