I love your music, I love the fact that you are not shy to make long songs, and I'm thankful that I learn a new thing or two with every new tune you upload. But after listening The Fall of a King, and Myths & Legends in general, I just want to inform that you have become my nº1 musical reference for buildups and interludes (closely followed by Antti Martikainen and BrunuhVille). C'est absolument magnifique ! Le côté bien plus Dark que d'habitude apporte une nouvelle dimension et colle parfaitement avec l'univers Epic & Heroic. C'est clairement un nouveau et gros coup de cœur ! On s'imagine tellement la bataille épique en jeu avec le royaume se préparant à des heures sombres... la tension s'installant progressivement sur le territoire. Puis arrive le dragon qui signe le début d'une grande bataille épique avec un Roi héroïque jusqu'au bout pour protéger son territoire et sa population du dragon. Le dernier coup d'éclat du Roi avant sa défaite sera matérialisé par le passage à 5:31.

THE FALL OF A KING...THE RISE OF JESUS CHRIST

I am so awestruck I'm not even going to complain how short draconis was. First of all, the two pieces fit so well together. Draconis is the dragon, the ominous evil that the kingdom knew would come in the end but still couldn't prepare for. The Fall Of The King is the noble, brave hero coming forth to try and slay the dragon. The part at 3:20 gave us hope that the hero would succeed. And for a while he did. But in the end, the hero was killed. And evil triumphed over good once again. (Please excuse my depressing thoughts, I had a surgery two days ago so I'm feeling a bit gloomy.) Second of all, this reminds me of a scene in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, which I coincidentally watched yesterday. The music in that scene is uncannily similar to this. Congratulations Fox Sailor, you have reached Nicholas Hooper's level of music, which is really saying something. Well done. Here's your medal 🏅

I am amazed, you describe perfectly what I tried to convey and to make felt through this music (the arrival of the dragon, the king who must face to save his kingdom, but who, in the end, does not survive the battle) Thank you very much for your comment :)
