Fox "How To" - eating eggs and attempted theft

Managed to capture some great egg-eating technique along with a bit of chasing and jostling a few nights ago!
I've helped the cub out in previous unsuccessful attempts by breaking eggs on plates for him (I usually do the same with his dad too), but given a bit of time he can get there himself. Rolf always used to run off with eggs which he took home when the cubs were small and denning; now he has a grown-up chancer to contend with.

the collars were set to release but both foxes left the area so it's hard to know what happened (we had a lot of foxes then, too many for them all to coexist)

the university fitted them with radio collars for a study they were doing (was a surprise to me to see this one day). The pair ended up on BBC's Autumnwatch/Winterwatch and became quite famous - the father set a record travelling across the countryside and made it into Wikipedia
