@@Beer_Me 02 cars dont have the 3v. Its 2v for the GT and Bullit and 4v for the Cobra and Mach1 3v was introduced in 05 And heres an extra piece of free information not all new edge Cobras were supercharged. Just the 03 and 04 models and that's why they're referred to as Terminators

@@dieseldong4781 I am 200% sure that you are a chevy guy, go through the video where they burn out the tires, pay attention to the fox bady, he does not get so much smoke, the camaro comes out a lot of smoke, now, when the 2 are started, the fox bady does not you can see the smoke, and the camaro does see smoke, but the 2 spin the tires

Stock fox body not really a monster but a modified one hell yeah and that one has clearly a lot done

The Fox Body Mustang is God's gift to muscle cars. If it was never invented, you'd never have the muscle cars of today. Gen 4 Camaros we're engineered for one thing: outrun a Fox Body. It's been an arms race ever since. Thank you Fox Body.

This was me every weekend, had 4 foxbodys, 2 were notchbacks. Wish I knew what they’d be worth today

Awesome video but this was about who had more HP and torque after the motorwork was done in each. Loved it though. Drag racing is huge in Ontario, you guys should come up to Cayuga.

Fox body yes, I have raced alot of cars and never lost. Light and easy to make them very quick. My fox was a 82--5.0 and yes very quick

Fastest f-body I saw was an LS1. Street outlaws had pov race and the Last car standing was f- body LS1.

Don't believe anything on that street outlaws. I lost interest when they took their cars to the track. We always settled it out on a back road. I remember when the Grand Nationals came out, they were very quick

i always like fox mustangs and always wanted one and finally i could aford one. this guy was selling one on market place on facebook it had word done on it it wasnt stock by any means when to go check it out and it turn out that thus guy new his his about the proformance world on cars he had a 2001 pontiac fire hawk and 2 f body camaros ss one was stocked but in great codition and the other one was a beast !!! it cammed mild Bald Eagle" LS1/LS2 N/A Camtube long headers Y pipe no cats the air would dump out thru the bottom passger side SLP Loudmouth resonator and the intake manifold was a FAST LSX 92mm Intake Manifold a little bit of fade on the hood but interoior was good just some plastic parts and switches that needed to be replaced C5 corvette rims deep dish. fell in love with the car and forgot about the fox body quick and the camaro wasnt even listed he was selling mustang for a friend 5k for the mustang and we agrred on 6500 on the camaro car to this day is in my garage its my track car and when i go out and have fun but thats rare care still hasnt gave me no problems

Throw a coyote in that bad boy. The 2V was a dog. I know I had one. All show and not much go. Have an S550 coyote now and it puts the 2V to shame. Don’t get me wrong, I love the fox body but Ford wasn’t putting out real hp then.

They're beautiful, but half the engine is buried and hard to work on.

If anyone has the option of 351 swapping your foxbody do it I had a 302 with mild comp cam, gears and 150 shot of nitrous and when I went to a Bored out 351w with Heads,cam,intake it was just as fast all motor.

Tha stang is called a fox for a reason,, cause they slick as hell.. good looking rides when clean.. love the foxbodys

I had a 302 in my old stang was a fun car now I have a stock 4.6 unmolested though but as fast as that fox is im curious if it's stroked to 347 cuz that thing screams

The 4.6 can't keep up with a built fox. I'm quick on the gas and quicker on the shift, and I saw taillights.

The only way the fox body could take the WIN! Is if it was heavly modded...i had a fox body 5.0 capri back in the 90s with a b 303 motorsport cam, off road h pipe exhaust, full lenght headers, underdrive pullys,87 block heads converted to carb with elebrock rpm intake, holly 600, 355 gears in a 8.8 inch rearend & centerforce clutch. & Barely beat the Camero or TAs with the lt1s when they came out i mean barely maybe 1 car lenght at most i would win & they were stock.

No... that's not the only way. If the Fbody driver doesn't know how to launch their car then it'll spin all day long and lose to whatever is next to it that grips and goes. That could have been a close race if not a win for the Camaro but the driver lost control twice and had to feather it to regain the line. Mods or not, the Fox driver was just better with his car.
