Little children should not be allowed to have social media accounts nor should they be using social media. Parents need to do better, stop giving their children over to social media.

@@ElsBels25 Little children shouldn't be everywhere to begin with and parents need to monitor their children's usage. Give them other things to do, like, I dunno, maybe a book to read, a coloring book & some crayons, read to them, take them to the park, sit down and do a puzzle with them or play a game. There are a multitude of activities to do with younger children. These parents today are just lazy, don't know how to be parents and are allowing technology to parent and raise their children.

THAT EQUALLY HOLDS TRUE FOR TEACHERS, SCHOOL BOARDS, etc. If kids are to TURN AWAY online, what happens when they are asked to embrace the same kinds of talks in the classroom? Some insist on engaging young children in sexually provocative conversations in school, to include classroom sexual "group therapy" led by individuals with no training or license, under some forms of Social-Emotional Learning and Trans awareness. I think Governor Desantis allows that children may ask questions and that anti-bullying discussions are okay. It's the qualitative difference between that and when education becomes persistent grooming.

While some of it is real and serious and deserves awareness, their claims for numbers are so extreme that it is little more than a fear campaign. Half a million predators online at any given time talking to an average of 55 children each? That means they are somehow talking to 27.5 million children continuously. Apparently the media and/or government especially wants to build fear in the mathematically challenged, sort of like they take advantage of that same demographic with lotteries.

There are too many sick people out here to let our children go missing outside of strip clubs. Places like that tend to invite predators and people who cannot control themselves. Houston is not safe for women or girls at all you are right. I moved to houston and the first 3 weeks i was accused of my real father being a sugar daddy/ client. Then they realized after research he was actually my real biological father. So if you are a female does not matter if you are lesbian or how you dress. What college you attend. If you are a female more specifically black female.... You will be seen as or thought to be into something related to sex. Rather a sex worker a hooker a scammer. Houston has a very bad views on women and girls. And so do men here. If i am not mistaken cops grabbed a 12 year old girl and punched her screaming you are a prostitute!! Hitting her in the back of the head with a flashlight as they arrested her. They thought she was around the age of 27 and was a hooker. Coming to find out the child was 12 on her way to buy chips and candy from a store. Imagine mistaking a baby for a hooker. Texas has been truly embarrassing lately. Especially houston.

Last years a woman tried to sextort me, but I laughed told her to go Forget herself and to go ahead and expose me to my cousin's since those were the ones she claimed she was going to share my pics with. This person sent me a friend request through FB facetimed me then claimed she was a minor and tried saying I was exposing myself to her, but since I had proof she exposed herself first and she was the one that reached to me with the whole idea she blocked me and disappeared never contacting me ever again.

They should bring this stuff up in elementary school. Like the “stranger danger” type stuff. Just to let them know not to give anyone pictures on line when asked. I know I will be telling my grandbabies. I don’t let them on line anyways but just to make them aware. It sucks that we have to tell babies these things 😢.

Yes the should teach them "stranger danger" but, they're too busy being sick predators trying to Groom children to be gay and, or identify as opposite genders.

I’m in the Goodrich area . 59/69 is always getting chases . BUT our little rural area is getting bad. All the sheriff depts up here are short handed. These counties here are huge and the SO is small in good times but now ? People are coming out of town and even out of state to commit crimes here because of it . JMO thanks for the coverage of my area .

Really need to warn (we know kids don’t tell us everything) our children not to send nude pictures, never know who ur speaking to on other end, they share photos with like minded individuals & photos stay out there forever! This can set children up to later be abducted & end up into a life of trafficking. So sad, is our reality in this time of our technology, unable to find out where these predators are even sending text from. Huge network for these people wanting our kids!! Please Help keep our kids Safe!!💓

Welll if parents would spend time or pay attention to their kids instead of using the T.V. and any other social media to "babysit them" cuz youre to busy too tired too lazyyyy...well there you go..I believe laws should be made to where kids cannot have cell phones...I'm not quite sure what age would be appropriate but at 16/17 years old at least!

Adults can’t handle the internet & social media nor follow the rules so kids should not be allowed to utilize it at all…. Parents are handing their kids over with cell phones computers & social media. Don’t have kids if you don’t want to be bothered. Teach them useful life sustainable things because dancing with them on TikToc ain’t it
