​@@firstname4865in what way did they possibly endanger anyone's lives? If you just mean by being out driving in not the best weather conditions then that's absolutely ridiculous. Unless you've had an insanely sheltered life then you've definitely been out in just as bad weather if not worse. Unless we get further information saying otherwise then this just seems like a terribly tragic accident that could have happened to pretty much anyone.

Nothing is worse than the death of your child as I know from personal experience. My thoughts are with the poor parents.

Four teenage lads in a car in bad weather.. 45 years ago me and my mates survived it. Tragically these didn't. Awful news..

People do not take weather conditions seriously. I feel so sorry for the families. Giving condolences just does not seem enough. Parents burying their children is heartbreaking and they will spend the rest of their lives blaming themselves when it was just bad luck. So many teenagers get away with being careless. This time they did not. ☹

Very sad news condolences to all their families and friends.

The road from Beddgelert to Garreg is relatively out of the way with very few dwellings on or near it. The Afon Glaslyn was in high water over the weekend and some of the fields nearby flood in wet weather. I could imagine a car clearing stock fencing and plunging downwards out of view of others passing on a tight corner. Although it is an A road, its a very quiet one with only very light traffic much of the time. So terribly sad.

Condolences to the families. Country driving can be very dangerous, totally different from city driving. Sharp bends, severe weather conditions, fog can descend suddenly and hinder visibility..

So sad ,they must have slid off the road. They must have been going fast to leave the road and all of them sadly taken. 4 young best mates all gone. My sympathies to all the families affected by this tragedy. 🙏
