Honestly, my idea of a potential AU of this is that at some point, the resets malfunctioned. Now instead of just memories sometimes staying, physical changes also stayed. Every wound or injury inflicted ending up staying when they reset. Although oddly enough everyone is still alive as if nothing is wrong, *although they are VERY aware of their wounds, and who just might be the cause of them*

I like to think this is Frisk going through the Genocide Route as planned, but last second the Player transfers their control so they can use Chara as a "host"(Right after the Toriel transition to ded) via a hack which is why Chara is a lot more.. Bloody than you'd think, while Frisk is trying to warn people of what's coming PlayerChara is going around invisible as a ghost killing everyone, and it takes the determination of the one that allowed this mess to begin for not having better control of the one who controlled them, and a man who speaks in hands who can fuck with the code itself, just my take on it,(In my mind Frisk is kinda just "containing" the player so they don't control anyone else, or their DT draws us to their soul like a parasite)

My theory is that Frisk did a genocide run first, then did a pacifist route. So Chara became evil because of Frisk's genocidal actions in the genocide run, then when Frisk did the pacifist run, Chara didn't like it and killed everyone by herself.

Why would it be Kris? It’s an Undertale Track. Kris isn’t in Undertale. Frisk doesn’t exist in Deltarune.

Honestly the sprites could have been the Horrortale AU of each of the characters. It still fits the theme too! The song is amazing! Love the leitmotif changing to each of the characters themes rather than it just being another remix of the original with different chromatics

Pretty good cover, I like that Frisk sounds like they're whistling which fits the whole mute protag thing. Only critique is that the undertale music bits feel a bit forced and incohesive at times the only exceptions being Chara's and Gaster's parts... like they work together just fine but not so much with the base music of FFF

Frisk was on the very last few points of hp they had, desperately trying to keep on singing Shyren’s song….. and then…..Wingdings? “Do you not remember me, child?” Frisk stared for a moment……before they finally recognized them as the weird person from the monochrome room in waterfall. Gaster had seen everything, and even tried to cheer them up by quoting the spear of justice herself. Frisk gave a confident grin as they and Gaster stood against Chara. *File Reset*. “You had that dream again, didn’t you?” Chara asked, looking down at Frisk with a concerned look. Frisk told them that….it was a little different this time. “I see. Well…. I’m glad you kept your promise. I may not be there for the others….but I’m glad you can be there in my place. Especially for Mom and Dad.” Frisk nodded in agreement.

I think for the designs, most of the monsters should be melty, or kind of dusty, since y know, monsters don't bleed (sans just had some ketchup on his chest) but aside from that the designs look terrifying!

Well, tbh on the draw i made for chara in that video, she was her og color tone, but due i oversaturated her with ibis paint effects, she got yellow

*Possible context: Chara managed to return and the genocidal route has gotten out of control, chara will now seek to torment frisk making him face the consequences of his actions, toriel arrives with a broken heart to see what what did his child do and what did he become, sans upset about what he did with his brother, papyrus being innocent he just wants to try to help frisk but he can't because he is controlled, Before I managed to take Frisk's soul and continue with the chaos, he is interrupted by a strange being who has achieved the impossible, getting out of that void, now facing the demon of the smile, help the unfortunate and repentant human to solve this problem that caused by the genocidal route, everything is reset and chara annoys, disappears again* *WD Gaster* _He just watched and kept quiet...until now_

I LOVE this cover and the references you put in it. I would like to see this become a real thing.

Great job man! Loved the references, the only placements I woulda changed were sans and toriel then toriel and gaster. I would have then replaced toriel with flowey because he is like the final villain in the non genocide route now that I'm thinking about it this sounded better in my head lol.

I'm just thinking that the story behind this is that Frisk is going through the whole underground & trying to find their friends, but they encounter them like this after chara managed to get their own soul & went on a massive murder spree, Alphys however gave them determination, but it wasn't enough causing them to become what they are in the song... Ghaster senses something is seriously wrong by the time frisk is able to properly confront chara and ends up helping frisk in returning the timeline back to what it should have been

I like to think of this as an au where chara is evil and monsters bleed blood and where chara killed all the monsters. I refuse to think that chara is evil in actual cannon so that's why i like to think of this as an au. Also, monsters don't bleed blood, only sans and toriel do.
