Reminds me of something I heard once in the Army, after several plan changes in rapid succession, and shifting people back and forth around to accommodate these changes, someone in the back of the formation says "Would somebody please make up my mind?". 1SG actually smiled at that one.

Reminds me of a guy I knew who was like the wimp in the sand at the beach. Inhaling fresh air he'd probably black out and eating a steak would be too intense just cutting it would be an effort. I would guess changing a tire is out of the question as the jack would buck him off

Home of the taillight warranty. Once the taillights disappear from view it's no longer your worry. That locomotive in the plastic wrap may have come from the National Railway Equipment facility in Mount Vernon IL and looking at the sags in the wrapping it has the configuration of a SD40-2. Attractive paint and is almost reminiscent of the Fort Worth & Western scheme. While you were on the scale quite a few covered Hoppers and Tank cars in the background and it appeared you were near a grain or potash transfer area. Nice picture at the end of the unloading with the freight cars and cranes to the right Orwell says time to come home Go West Young Man

12:47 The three main railway gauges in Australia are narrow: 1,067 mm (3 ft 6 in), standard: 1,435 mm (4 ft 8+1⁄2 in), and broad: 1,600 mm (5 ft 3 in). Light rail for Sugar Cane uses 610 mm (2 ft).

Love the vids. We watch mostly because of you. You're entertaining, witty, and good at what you do. The quality of filming and camera angles is cracking, and I say this as someone who's filmed motorsport for 20 years. Also, as Brits, we love to see Orwell in all his glory, out on the road, and the scenery of a country we have come to love on our many holidays across The Pond.

I use to hate delivering to any port. They are such big places and many designated spots to pick up from and drop. There is personal for all the different spots and it gets confusing fast. You seem to take it in stride. Great video FSC. Have a great and a safe day. Happy trails and happy motoring..

NRE is National Railway Equipment. They are in the rebuilding and remanufacturing business. Build new and remanufactured locomotives out of used ones. They had a huge complex in Silvis, Illinois located on the old Rock Island property, a facility in Mt. Vernon, IL, and a smaller facility in Dixmoor on the south side of Chicago. They closed the Dixmoor and Silvis facilities, and now do their work out of the Mt. Vernon shop. If it was at the port, my guess is its going to export.

Standard broad gauges are 5'' (Russia),5'- 3""(Ireland and parts of Australia, and 5'- 6"" (Spain & Portugal). The old EMD factort in London, Ontario had a track out of the finishing shop with 5 gages - 1 common rail and 4 others!

Use low gear more often on any load to save your driveshafts and the rest of Orwell's driveline, please. The shockload of cab bouncing breaks and stresses all components that are designed to give away to keep a bigger part from splattering, and you're still broke down. The clutch is also getting hot and sticky from trying to slip a ceramic button clutch. I know of a solution to that that's not on the hotrod side of what guys do with trucks. Carbotic ceramic clutch facing pads. Mid-America Clutch VHD clutch.

Ha ha i been there Steve. And i had to go through that gate. And follow a truck. Which kept taking off and i am like ???? Finally one of the supervisor's was getting angry cause the security guard's kept taking off,. And i was like enough of this BS. I turned around and started heading out and the supervisor was chasing me in his personal vehicle. I was hauling a shipping container that had to be on a certain ship. He was like stop that truck. And the gate attendant was like sorry sir u can't leave. And i got out of my KW. And said this. I tried to follow that security truck to follow them to the ship that needed that shipping container on it. And they kept taking off i followed the 10 mile a hour rule. And ur security guard's went way faster. And i had enough u can contact my co owner of the company. And i said i have a dash cam so there's my proof that i was following the speed limit. And the manager agreed to sign the document's. And they had somebody lead the way to the ship. And the Captain was like yeah and i explained to him what happened. And he said one of his worker's told him what was going on.

Standard gauge is 1,435mm (4ft 8½in) everywhere around the world and is used in just about every country around the world, which might be why it's also known as international gauge. And just about every country has railroads that aren’t standard gauge, but they’re usually exceptions. The US exports locomotives; so things aren’t so bad that it has to import them; not so sure about other rolling stock.

Russia just announced it is halting exports of Diesel fuel. Does this mean the u.s. will be exporting fuel to Europe where the big money is and screwing the American market?. Some say it is because of the war but I have been getting a different story. Russian diesel was making big export profits. The problem is that their refinement capacity has been deteriorating. This has meant that diesel for consumer and more importantly agricultural use has been in short supply. There have been pictures on Russians Telegram channels of gas stations with signs saying no diesel available. So the export freeze is more to make sure they have enough for their winter and military use. We will soon see how this affects our market.
