I do that with everyone, not so bad just put your arms inside the duvet cover (when its inside out) pinch the corners then grab the comforter and shake it on. Easy peasy

I hate the duvets but i learned a method that sped it up so im grateful to that lol

Wish this would work for me but I have to strip the bed first, put pillows and duvets into casings and deal with very inconvieniently arranged beds which can only be approached from one side,,,

Well at the hotel that I work at there's no fitted sheet it's a flat sheet that you have to tuck and there's also two more blankets that go on the bed and the little sash thing is separate. So it's a bit more work than that.

I just started my new job as a room attendant too, and seriously the other people clean room fast. So i decided to check out somr tips to become faster. Lol i liked this video. im gonna try these techniques ;)

linkinzak v me too. the ladies I work with are so dang fast. I'll try this on my next shift. can't wait. this is exactly how we do the beds with the corners too. and the pillows. I was struggling and fighting with the pillow on my first day. and now I need to keep a good steady pace and I'll be up to par. but these ladies have been doing it forever too. so it's kind another fair

That's was simple ! I do make 20 beds and clean like 9 rooms and supposed to finish by 15:00 because the guests normaly checks in from 15 by the time I finish I am damn sweating like crazy 😭😭😭😭 Can you please do a video of both speed leaning and make bed?

i' m gonna start my first time job of room attendant and i hear people say its hardwork so i started searching for videos to gain knowledge. i have done some hard labor before so im sure my body can take it, is 30 minutes per room to clean a good amount of time? Nice video by the way!

This bedding is different some hotels have duvet and covers but in hotel line u don't have enough time to make bedding step by step

ok now lets see how long it takes when you have to fight to get the comforter in the duvet,i bet that will add at least another 2 minutes to your time cause those comforters never want to cooperate

Right

It takes me 10-15 minutes to make one queen sized bed. We are required to use duvet’s which makes the process twice as long. So can you do a video using a duvet cover please!?

I live in California. I don't need comforters, duvets or quilts. In the summer on sleep on the sheets. In the winter I cover myself with a blanket. Save your $$ people

I wouldn't fire her because she did exactly what I would do. but yes time is an factor depending on what's already been tooking care of in the home.... 2min tops is a great target time.

Oh Fitted Sheet? I never done it with fitted sheet. Making Traditional Bed Setting always flat sheet, then wrong side sheet and then Blanket and the last is right side sheet. First time i see using fitted sheet

I'll try this but it's no way I can make bed in 4 minutes in a dirty motel rooms(especially weekly motel) motel in the US usually uses bed spread,2 queen size bed,I do the laundry too so I'm not required to clean as many rooms like 14 to 15 because it is so impossible in old motel room wherein most of the occupants are old people or druggies and they make a complete mess upon chk out. .sometimes it took me two hours to clean a messy room.i dont want to just leave the room dirty. I kind of making a general cleaning if the room so messy and filthy, smoking rooms especially stink.huh...and pit room.l

+hom lamichhane duvet next to flat then cover. the order would be: fitted, flat, duvet, cover and sometimes the design for accent across the bottom of the bed.

No all bed are the same were I work the bed is the hardest each hotel do their bed different what she doing is very easy unlike some hotel that make bed hard wish bed making was only had 3 step and quick

i will make like this bed with in 2min

I can make my bed in only 2minutes

I can just five minuts to making it...

She puts the pillow's underarm. That means that after making several rooms she's going to sweat and all that that sweat in to the pillow. The bed was fine but the pillow making. Little Nasty.

+Dave Lucero Depending on the hotel, housekeeping has anywhere from 20-30 minutes to clean the entire room. If you can make a bed in less than 7 minutes you have plenty of time for everything else. 4 mins is an excellent time for a king bed. BTW, I am a housekeeping supervisor and have been in my job for going on 8 years.
