Four Level Fusion ACDF C3-C7: Two Days Prior to Surgery

I'm one of the relatively small number of unlucky people who must get four level ACDF (anterior cervical discectomy and fusion) surgery. Yay! I wanted to document this time by recording these videos and posting my experience because there are relatively few four level ACDF videos out there and a lot of ACDF videos in general are negative.

UPDATE: I'm now 5 days post surgery and doing phenomenally well. The relative lack of pain (with no pain meds) is absolutely astonishing and unexpected. This is the first in a series of videos that I'll post documenting my experience with this surgery. You may notice that I have a runny nose and the sniffles in this video. Although I did pass the COVID test, turns out those sniffles turned into a full blown cold (sinus infection?) post-surgery. More on that in a future video.

Nice to hear another's story. Sounds as if you had a rather good experience with everything. Off to watch the rest of your videos.

Sorry to hear. Have you considered getting an opinion of another surgeon? I have never heard of a "collapsed neck" from ACDF.
