Please know this is not meas. I had a 4Ccdf done on 11/23. I was lucky I got to start PT, at 6 weeks I could wean off the collar, my surgeon doesn't believe in a soft. Did they give you a bone stimulated and I got to return to work a week. Keep up the good work

I did get a bone stimulator and it was fine the first few weeks but then the sensors started causing burns to the back of my neck. Manufacturer sent new sensors but same thing happened so I gave up on it. At my 4 month follow-up with my surgeon the x-rays showed fusion/union at 3 of the 4 levels already so decided to not pursue a different bone stimulator.

@@LearnAtMyExpense I'm 3 levels, he still won't let me do PT and has me at 10 lbs at 4.5 months. The fusion doesn't start till around 4 months. Maybe at 6 months he will let me do some PT. I seen a few people get to physical (push-ups and jumping around) to soon on KZread and then the account closes? If you get a chance study the bone graft material that was Implanted it shows 12 to 18 months to fuse

@@jjohnston6645 I see my surgeon on Tuesday. I was told that I would likely be back to full activity at around 4 months. My surgeon is pretty well known (worldwide) so I am curious to see what he says when I speak with him.

Be careful mowing. The pull start is probably not good to do yet. I just got cleared at 4 months to self propelled lawn mower but not allowed to pull start

Not many surgeons would do 4 levels fusion from the front. How you feel now and any regret for having the surgery? Wish you the best.

@@LearnAtMyExpense how many hours for your surgery. Did you lose a lot of blood and need blood transfusion

@@jeffreyosborne6012 I recall it was about 4.5 hours. Surgeon said that when he opened me up they found that the front of my upper vertebrae had naturally fused together on their own. So he first had to drill that bone out to get to the ruptured discs. As far as how much blood I lost - no idea, and I wasn't told I received a transfusion. It wasn't something I was concerned about.
