I like seeing the UK auditions, almost as much as the US ones. The audience seems more involved in the UK one, not always in a better way honestly.

She does not have a lack of talent - she is not the greatest singer but she resonates with the audience.

American songs usually sound better if you speak the language

I think it's messed up that it seems like if a contestant is from a country not USA or primary English speaking countries then the way their show in their country is largely dependent on how close the contestant can immatate the American mainstream sound.. they usually are straining to sound American so I often overlook there talent... possibly,, maybe, but really no.. they just sound like a joke trying to sing a song that they barely know how to pronounce.. no offense, I'm just thinking,, but some sound terrible like they are special contestants

thank you my japanese friend that raps and sings... u sound like crap until u rap but really I know it's just the struggle with accent and pronunciation... still good
