Very interesting!
It's a shame we can't safely excavate, raise and preserve these wrecks to be studied in depth on land in controlled environments. Their cargo alone would give a wonderful insight into history of the time.
I agree that this history is worth preserving. Shipwrecks are so difficult to study, due to the erosion and disintegration you describe.
Subtitles would be nice.

There are subtitles, look below the bar at the bottom of the screen, on the right side, you'll see a white box with CC inside, that is closed captions, or sub titles. Click on that. If there is no box with CC inside, then there are no subtitles.
