I think my favorite thing about the Irish Lads playing together is: Whenever they play, they get angry, and their accents start getting stronger. And it's just an echo chamber. So as the video goes on, they just become Angrier and More Irish to the point where they're almost completely unintelligible.

The quality of mario party games I feel has been decreasing over time. 9 had the car thing, people didn't like it, so nintendo was like "let's do it again!" Super mario party only has 4 maps, and this is the only update for the game since launch. And, as far as I know, it only added the online, which realistically should have been there to begin with.

Also shout out to Brian for this being the first stream I've ever caught with him on it and he utterly captivated me with his humour even though he was understandably quite quiet. @@theguyyouhate So to give you the scoop of what you missed in the past decade, MP9 for the Wii kinda ruined the series by changing it completely and all the games for the Wii U and 3DS followed this trend of boring games. Super Mario Party (Basically MP11) is the newest game and had brought it back to the normal Mario Party formula that you see here. Going back to your question now, in all the games up to 7 there were three of the same bonus stars. 7 introduced having more then three bonus stars so you wouldn't know what you were getting with SMP following this (Although in games with 20 or less rounds only has two bonus stars while more then 20 will let you get three.) Btw don't question why I know this, a lot of Mario Party Netplay on Discord 🤣

I just realized that at 23:07 Dan’s talking about the highest Kevin can roll to get to the star but Kevin also has an ally and can actually get 16 (rather than what Dan says which is 14) as his highest possible roll and that still wouldn’t get him to the star but like if Kevin does the rolls perfectly he can look longingly at the star from two spaces away and despair slightly

I feel like this is EXACTLY the kind of game the Irish Lads should be playing together. Team Survival games like Don't Starve or Minecraft, and screw-your-neighbor party games like Mario Party and Mario Kart. It's such a magical team combination. I was certain Dan had it in the bag, or somehow Kevin would pull one out at the end. That was quite a surprising end.

Everyone was bullying Daithi for the whole thing but then he pulled the Uno Reverse Card at the end.

The Irish lads will yell at any game good or bad, but they will also yell at any game in a comically brilliantly good way that is for sure.
