Welcome back! Glad to see you are doing better. I am interested in how the notebook’s paper performs with fountain pen ink (i.e., feathering, shadowing, bleed-through, etc.), because I am always in search of notepads to use with my fountain pens. Also, very interested on your thoughts on the Kaweco .

Vanness has the most inks. That's where I get my De Atramentis Artist Ink, which I can't find anywhere else. And that's a pretty Kaweco.

Dromgooles here in Houston had it smells like coffee in stock this past weekend as well

I have quite some Kaweco pens and enjoy them (especially with a gold nib). One reason why I enjoy the AL pen (and the Liliput) is that I can put it in my trouser pocket for EDC purpose, and don't have to be afraid that it will break like the plastic models.

And I love Earl Grey Tea! It's on my buy-a-bottle list.

I would like to see a notebook review (patreon is fine). Do any of us need another notebook? No. Are we going to buy more notebooks? Yes.

I love the coffee ink! I put it in my Retro 51 coffee pens

On scented inks: I’m normally not a fan, but I could get used to that “smells like coffee”. I have a bottle of Diamine “Pick Me Up”, which has a tobacco-like, additive smell, but it doesn’t last. It’s brown color is nice enough and was part of Inkvent Calendar 2022.

As someone who gets an instant headache from perfume, fragrance in lotions, etc - I DETEST the scented inks as I often can't even breathe.

DeAtramentis cherry Blossom feathered like crazy hated it! And had to clean my pen several times to get the essential oil out!

Could you please do a short video of a closeup while writing with this ink? I'm so totally going to need to buy this. Also - I hope you feel better. Thank you for this video.

I love Vanness- they are great. They were the only shop that had a Pilot Nagasawa Decimo - and they had it in a medium fine - it is now my favorite pen. I also love Kaweco sports and my favorite by far is the art sport - the regular plastic sports feel really cheap and i don’t like metal pens, so the art sports are perfect.

I don't think scented inks would be up my alley but I'll try at some point.

I haven't tried any scented inks! I am really sensitive to scents, so I have always been a little nervous about them. And there are just so many other inks that I want to try! 😂

After I purchased the TWSBI Eco Caffe w/ bronze trim, there was only one ink that I could think of putting in the pen, and that was the KWZ It Smells Like Coffee (which I ordered from Vanness). This was the first, and only, scented ink that I have used When I first opened the bottle, I was a little disappointed since then scent smelled more like hot chocolate rather than coffee. But once I filled the Eco Caffe, I was priestly surprised since everytme I uncapped the pen it smells like a cup of coffee with cream and sweetener. The ink in combination with the broad nib layer down a nice brown line (not to light not to dark). This pen and ink make a great combination for a coffee lover. On a side note, I really like the looks of the bronze trim and nib colors that TWSBI has used on several releases.

YOU, Kerry, are the reason why I bought a whole bottle of KWZ's Smells Like Coffee, a little over a year ago or so (that's when I found your channel) and I ADORE IT! 🤎🤎🤎🤎 *However*, to little ol'me it smells like fresh brewed coffee. My Benu Talisman Coffee Bean has been inked up with it since the day both items came to live with me from (da - da-da- daaaa) Vanness. Thank you oh so very much for talking about it!
