Nah, girl, you don't even realize just how helpful this video was. One thing that I took too long to accept about makeup is that, no matter what people do, it doesn't have to work for you and there's really infinite choices, tools, products... That could work better. This video was super informative and it was actually insanely useful and visual to watch you use each one of the brushes individually. Super super helpful. Now I'm gonna head out the door and get myself a domed foundation brush cause that sounds like the best option for me. THANK YOU!!

I just switched to a much thinner brush and it really does give a flawless finish! Super easy to use in the AM when you’re getting ready for work!

This was super helpful, especially having the written recap after each brush! I have combination skin with large pores and acne scars. What brush would you recommend?

Such a huge help instead of sifting through brushes by trial and error. I gotta say I love Morphe when it comes to foundation brushes. Keep the vids coming!

Spice and Thread the beauty blender is great and I recommend everyone having no matter your skin type! But I think the round head or flat top kabuki blending brush would be a great one for you as well!

do you happen to know what kind of brush would be best for stage makeup? i have pretty normal skin (a little oily but washing my face helps) and I'm in color guard. I want to have the best coverage I can but also make it look good under stadium lights.

Lauren Arnold I would say you need a combination of a beauty blender and probably a paddle brush for laying down good coverage (beauty blender to help blend it out).

I have very oily skin with tons of blemishes so it’s great to know the stippling technique - seems like I’ve been doing it all wrong! I know this is off the topic of foundation specifically, but will you go over recommendations for contouring brushes? Thanks! #simplymakeup

What method of blending were you doing before?! Yes I can definitely can and plan to do a whole beginners section on contouring, but if you want to spend on a great brush Sephora Pro Contour #79 is my favorite one and looks the most natural contour wise!

Victoria Poirier I would say the flat paddle brush would be best given your skin type, but you can definitely also explore a beauty blender sponge which I love as well and works great with dry skin. I believe that bonus video is in the links below in the video description!

Jennifer Johnson I would use a combination of a beauty blender plus a round or flat top kabuki around the large pore areas. You may also want to consider a lore filing primer to help combat that as well. I suggest the smashbox oil free minimize pores primer (purple color one).

I have rosacea and sensitive skin. Just touching it makes me redder. The worst is the stippling/buffer foundation brush.

I know this was 4 years ago, but when I clicked on the link for the foundation guide, it just asked for my email and my name, but then gave me no guide. What happened?!

No one like to watch this. Not linking where to buy those brushes.
