Well , seems to me that if it were me, 3 funerals would be in the works.

If it were me, I would have sued the cousin for back child support, forward child support, and the wife, mother, and cousin for fraud, mental cruelty, intentional infliction of emotional distress... And anything else that I possibly could. Then sought an annulment of the marriage due to fraud, not a divorce. After that, I would think about the possibility of legally adopting the children once they were old enough to decide for themselves because the children were innocent vitims of fraud also, and seemed to love the OP... Mom and cousin definitely disowned...

So tired of these stories about weak men! If there was ever a time to go postal this would be it! At least scorched earth, gruesome divorce, tell everyone, alienation of affection lawsuits, ghost mother forever.

!!!! Exactly!!!! But that's mostly today's People's actions, it's Me Me Me. Just excuse after excuse. It ranges from spouses, children, parents even siblings.

Honestly, I think Op was still too soft on all of them. I think he should have went after the AP for child support and I think he should have cut off his mother after her role in this along with his cousin and his family.

100%, it still feels like everyone won, except for him, I was hoping he would have been found to be the kids father or such too but nothing this feels like a loss

Used and manipulated, and happy about it... Became "friends" with his ex, became "friends" with her lover, dropped lawsuits.. At least he has a new woman... Everything sweet, and polite and dandy... I am sure whoever wrote this is of the female persuasion

Damn I would not ever speak to my Mother again. I couldn't even look at my cousin or his family again ever. Leave his dad do the child exchange. Definitely not have his Ex see Melody. I would not let that toxic person around someone I didn't want to corrupt.
