Nice find, bearings/spider very rarely go on these machines anyway so no need to worry about that. And yes you're correct, it's made in February 2013. Very reliable these machines are!

@@bootsowen from my experience, these were best of the best, I had one that was the range above it and loved it and the campsite I go to has this but in 7kg 1500rpm and it’s very good, even though this isn’t the 1600rpm model it’s got quite a good spin action and it actually uses quite a bit of water for the wash and rinses which is quite good (which is from a owner of a machine that doesn’t much water which isn’t good for a regular load in household

If i had the space, id be collecting washing machines myself, repairing then, or restoring them. Great vid!!!

Nice find! Beko machines like to have door issues a lot. I'm from turkey and i have an arçelik 7103he washing machine and the door hinge broke, we called arçelik technical support and they fixed it for a high price. Then the start stop button cracked and i didnt wanted to call technical support since they charged too much money for it, i opened the top and removed the motherboard and replaced the keypad. Then the door latch broke i removed the glass door and opened the plastic part of the door and fixee it myself. Beko/arçelik machines are easy to fix in my opinion because all of the models of them are pretty much the same.

Nice classic (old beko) very very solid and very very good condition!! bearings great, apart from hanging door! i would say there no real good reason to chuck it out (maybe dated but defo useable) great video :D

Dont worry about the snots and stuff in door seal or the suds - bekos always do that - they have probs the best rinses on any machine :) you ever thought of when u see the rusty machines, spray paint them? id try a 90' wash just to make sure that works if does i think its perfectly fine!

You could put a old Bosch brushed washing machine in that bosch vario perfect and throw bricks in it

@@bootsowen on that occasion the steel was a computer my friend was throwing out and some little bits. My friend gave me a lift in his car, usually I would take the bike trailer. I am more of a cord cutter, all I really carry is a pair of cutters and some screwdriver. I keep an eye on Facebook, Freecycle and Gumtree ads for stuff. Today I took some flat plugs out of the freezer and broke them up. I try and avoid steel, my biggest income item is cable.

I like cable, it seems to have a very good price and is easy to store. I carry a channel lock pliers, a side cutters and some screwdrivers, I seem to be able to get most things that way. I keep a look out for skips that have copper and brass plumbing parts, good heavy taps are what I really like.

It must be a good machine. Peter Gabriel wrote a wicked song about it!

@@bootsowen soo these are the basic wmb models and the other ones lasted for ever and the drum on these almost never go wrong and older bekos are just so reasonable so please clean this up and you could maybe keep it for your work shop clothes? Sorry tgsi comment was long

just throwing away my 6 y old Beko...that worked 1 per week for 4 years...for 1 person, 7kg machine....i hate it! it tore my garments...did not wash properly....just made things wet!(for guys this may look ok...but it just did not do the job) plus it just started leaking water under...i paid 300 eur for it....i would never recommend it!....and bought LG now...i would never use other people's machines because filled with dirt (poop, urine) and they must smell ugly :) cause mine certainly did! and i am suuuper clean person

@@bootsowen yes true...will do now with the new one.....i was just trying to avoid damage to my clothes....i was doing 60 degrees washes..mostly 40 C....maybe the leakage was no big deal.....but i know i hated her from day 1 because it made holes in my clothes

if you use too much soap, especially liquid soap, it builds up a layer of soap and poo etc between the drum and the tub, the bit you cant see. You can clean it using acid like vinegar, or bicarb, or citric acid, I find using very little soap, like 1 desert spoonful for a full load still makes bubbles and that is enough. Wash your towels very hot like 90 when you wash them and use less soap. also you don't need fabric softener, haven't used it in 10 years. If your clothes smell clean they are just perfumed from too much soap and that scum inside the tub.

@@bootsowen oh i always put a bit more of liquid soap because we have very hard water, but eco liquid ...so not the artificial one. Thank you so much for advice....i will defo pay attention to it more now
