I think of Bill Murray as an analogy.......Finn is also another comedian playing a straight man. I think of Dan Aykroyd....... The power company manager is a comedian.......The prime minister is actually Jens Stoltenberg who became NATO Secretary General in October 2014. ..... The inside jokes go on and on.

One i would recommend that is only digital or DVD is Savageland,. I bought the DVD so I could own it. It is from 2015. A mockumentary style film that uses photography in the most creepy, effective way. Very underrated film. I really appreciated its unique take on the genre. P.s. I found Lake Mungo is available to stream on Amazon Prime. I checked it out and I thought it was quite good. Some creepy scenes, but mostly I felt sad at the end. Good recommendation, and if others are unsure, maybe they can stream it first. I picked up Haunted Asylum because I love all things paranormal investigation related. I enjoyed As Above, So Below just for the chance to view the catacombs under Paris. Weird reason, but it was a selling point for me. Thank you again for another informative video! :)

I agree that Lake Mungo was sad and it's one that haunted me for days after. I agree with you about the catacombs under Paris. It was so interesting and when I watched the very short extra feature about the making of, I wanted to know more. I'd love to see a special edition with loads of extras for that one. I remember seeing The Blair Witch in the theaters and the shaky cam made me so sick, I had to walk out. 😂😂😂 I'm fine with it now on a regular TV but the big screen... It killed me. If I ever give found footage another shot, I promise it will be one you've mentioned here. I don't expect that to happen, though. I've seen a couple (not mentioned in your video) and really just didn't like anything about them. Not being a huge horror fan to begin with, I think maybe found footage films are a little too much of a reach for me. Thanks for taking the time to recommend what I'm sure are the best of the genre.

Not a huge fan of these either. When they first appeared they were cool, but it's become sort of old hat. REC definitely stands out. I also loved Troll Hunter. It was just the right twist on this genre of film. I will have to check out some of those I have not seen.

Hey friend. I don't know of another Host from 2020. But this is the one with the Zoom call and the other I know is a creature feature from Bong Joon Ho but I can't recall the year. The one I'm referring to is only about an hour and ten minutes if that helps. It's definitely worth the watch. 😊

I'm not a huge fan of found footage movies, because they are usually boring. It's very rare that I enjoy one. I will highly suggest the new movie "Late Night With The Devil". This is the way to do the genre. I saw it in theaters and it's now on Shudder.
