Dude you are my hero. I used to hate myself so much because babies and small creatures would bring me to tears. I hated that something so precious could reduce me to mush. Felt that as a man, I had to be “macho” all the time. The truth is, I love babies and small creatures. I want to protect them and love them. My kids just found the 3rd litter of baby bunnies in our yard this year. We have a part-beagle dog and she loves the babies. She checks on them every time ahe goes outside, gives them a kiss, and then makes sure to scare away everything that isn't bunnies. It's quite funny

I had bunnies in my backyard at one point, but my dogs got them before I did. Fortunately there was two still alive and I would check on them everyday until one morning I found them dead in the grass and I was heart broken, my dogs weren’t the ones who did it must of been a cat or something but it makes me sad still to this day.😢

I did not mean to miss lead. I bought these Flemish giants from a breeder who keeps them all outside. I decided to select 2 and try to let them live in a contained area in my backyard so they can dig naturally, to bring them maximum naturalness to see if they would not have all the problems people talk about like exploding hearts and broken backs. So far it is working great but I do have to fill tunnels when they go too far.

Hate to break it to you but that guy going near and picking up the bunny’s basically doomed the baby bunnies when the mama bunnies comes back and smells that something else besides her baby was at the hole she is 100 percent gonna abandon the baby’s the reason why they don’t visit the baby bunnies as often is so then she doesn’t attract predators but as soon as she smells another animal she immediately moves on and takes no risks and reproduces another batch of babies that is unless the guy took the baby bunnies and took care of them those bunnies are basically dead and are gonna starve to death .That’s why they say that if you see a bunny nest you have to avoid it.😢

The one I called Beast, a male, is the one who dug all the holes for her. It was interesting to watch. But sometimes he would go too close to the fence and I had to check those spots. That is when I found babies close to the fence under ground and had to wait for them to grow first. This is all so tricky.

I am not going to give 1 month old bunnies swim lessons, but I have seen that done to 8 month old humans when I was at the pool and that was really interesting to see the baby struggle to flip on its back and struggling to breath, sometimes choking with the parent hiding behind the wall watching the baby swim trainer at work. It looked as awful as you could imagine, you would think the baby was being tortured.

I raised 2 bunnies. They are very smart. I trained them to come by whistling, taught them many other commands by repitition, treats /rewards/praise. They used a litter box, too. Just like a dog or horse, etc. Bunnies make great pets, so much fun😊

Something burrowed a hole next to the ac compressor outside. I might have to buy a trail camera. I put all the bunnies in the hutch recently as I grow more grass. Good thing I did that. I think it only comes out at night, but I put GoPro camera out there

These bunnies are very chill, given you’re able to get so close to them, they are still probably a bit scared of you, but all in all they don’t seem terrified.

One of the younger girls (of the kitty litter, 1 male/3 female, dwarf kitty was oldest girl/2nd born), the younger ones plays with the dwarf one and is so gentle and mothers her, making sure she doesn't go out of her sight too ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

Every year there’s a litter of bunnies under my parents picnic table in their backyard. I swear every year a new family is born there.

You clearly havent watched his channel. He's not "interfering". He raises and takes care of rabbits and they are in an enclosure, not in the wild. He just makes the enclosure look as close to the wild and comfortable as they need it to be. These are pet rabbits not wild ones. Wild rabbits and bunnies actually have perused the enclosures and shelter he builds and he lets them come and go as they please for safety (he mentions hawks in this video in particular as they cant get into the enclosures) because they are usually adapted enough to the wild already to be freely transient. He would only permanently remove a wild bunny outside of the enclosure if the bunny was being neglected or not cared for, or in grave danger. Otherwise, the wild ones he finds are usually trusting and healthy regardless.

Please don’t do that. The mother is trying to keep them hidden. Keep messing with them and she’ll likely abandon them. Handling them causes stress and could cause injuries you can’t see. They are fragile little things.

Right. A lot of people don't realize that rabbit mothers don't stay in the scratch and nurse most of the time. Their milk is very concentrated. The babies are fed a few times a day and left alone much of the time.

I love baby bunnies 🐰! I remember when I was 17 years old. I was playing outside with my baby brother Jeremiah, who was only 5 years old at the time. We saw a baby bunny. The baby bunny was so cute. Jeremiah said, "Look, Hannah! A baby bunny! It's so cute!" I am now 27 years old and Jeremiah is 15 years old. He doesn't remember that baby bunny, but he still loves cute things.

I'm happy that it wasn't scared. It didn't yell at all. That baby is out of this world precious. There's a whole little family down there so cuuute.
