It was because he steals all the kenshiro popularity on japan..xD if that continues..kenshiro must will be a secondary character :( that sucks..but well..you see it why rei was need to be killed in a "epic" way lol

@@isleep5835 Yes that is what I was referring to, such a shame, guy was one of the best VAs I've ever heard. This show's original Japanese Cast was pretty incredible all around, Kenshiro, Toki, Roah, Souther and Rei's voices were probably my favorite.

The arc with Rei is easily my favorite. You see how Rei was the "Mad Max" of the series. He was no better than the punks he sliced to ribbons until he met Kenshiro and Co. He lived up to his Star when they all inspired him to understand there's still things worth protecting.

It was always said, if you beat on a woman in front of Ken, Rei, Toki, and even Raoh, you'd get your head slapped off.....literally

@@user-so9md4cr1e Shin did kidnap Yuria at the beginning of the series. He loved her and Jagi manipulated those feelings to get him to hurt Kenshiro, but he genuinely did love her. It was Jagi's remark that Kenshiro wouldn't be able to protect her that really pushed him over the edge. Late series spoilers He loved her so much that when faced with the fact that Raoh was coming and would take Yuria by force (unlike Shin, Raoh would kill Yuria if she rejected him) he chose to basically walk to his death and let everyone believe he'd caused Yuria's death in order to keep her safely hidden from harm. Yuria only lived as long as she did because Shin died taking the secret of her survival with him. End later series spoilers So really he already helped a woman in the series, and overall he was shown to be a somewhat reasonable person when it came to others. When Saki (an anime only character) was going to be whipped by one of Shin's underlings he killed the underling personally, and when Saki later tried to run away with Yuria but was caught, Shin didn't harm her in any way, he just sent her back to her home village. And that's really what we see from Shin in regards to women, he'd never raise his hand against them. Despite kidnapping Yuria he generally treated her with respect and tried to woo her rather than force himself on her or resort to violence. Mind you, none of this excuses the kidnapping of course, Shin did the wrong thing plain and simple. But deep down I don't think Shin was a terrible guy either, he was just a bit misguided and Jagi took advantage of his emotional turmoil. In the end he choose to give his own life to protect the woman he loved even though she never loved him back.

Honestly, the original soundtrack is more than perfect for this scene, and the entire series. I don't know why anyone would want to replace it.

Lost Paradise is it's own thing, it used plot points of the anime while mixing new stuff into it, like a love letter to Hokuto fans that was excellent. It didn't need to follow the manga/anime exactly the same way Ken's Rage 1 and 2 did. It was refreshing and it was great.
