My comment was not to disrespect anyone / or any endevor. As with life there are "some" that will never be happpy with what's going on. EVERYONE has my respect... it's up to them to loose it. I have been helped / added by and given help aid to any that needed it. To paraphrase George Carlin .... the internet intensifies some personalities... but what if they're an arse. Foamers / Bo's / Leo's are all welcome at my table any time ;-). If by chance I misinterpeted a reply or two... my bad. Now, it's time to enjoy the day and the rails ;-)

He retired in 1980 as they was bought out by Burlington Northern Santa Fe. As did his four other brothers. All 4 Frisco Railroad. My nephew now works for CSX he's been there 15 years. There is something that I would enjoy seeing and I wonder if you might like to include them in any of your videos. If you ever come across really old train cars from the 70's or earlier, I know I'd enjoy seeing them. It's surprising to see just how many long forgotten memories can be brought to mind just at the sight of something familiar from that time like a style of letters or a design that is unique to a period. I know you aren't as old as I am, but I'm thinking you may very well know them when you see them. Thanks

As Always: Welcome to Ohio. Fostoria... The (Former?) Home of Union Carbide, and the Giant Diving Board at the City Pool! ;-) Giant Diving Boards are an Epic part of our lives... No Doubt, One BRAVE little Ohio Boy stepped off of a Giant Diving Board, and right onto Surface of The Moon! Maybe you're heading towards Continental, a "Big Four" Village for sure! Mr. Pitson (rip) was the Telegraph Operator there, right into the 1960'a... He lived next door to my Grandparents. Somewhere in time, the sound of his Vibroplex "Bug" still clatters, with manifests and train orders long since completed. That grandson of Don's next door? Well he became an Amateur Radio Operator, and even got a commercial telegraphy license. Morse Code? Well, it's "Demise" was greatly exaggerated: It just moved from the rails to the sky, where it still lives. Happily. You won't be the last Hobo. Economic times will boom and bust, despite all attempts at "Central Planning." Kids will cast their lines, and think that they discovered adventure for the first time. Trains will still run, and the goods will be manufactured at distant Mills, and arrive in marketplaces everywhere! The home of Cooper Tire is Findlay, Ohio. When Akron was Something, and Firestone and Ford and Edison went Glamping. It will be again someday too, presently? It's becoming an Arduino Haven! The Earth makes another Revolution around the Son, and for the Young? It's always the Dawn of a New Day. What Age comes after the Information Age? Who will remember us? Or.... Them! All the Best! DE W8LV BILL

Make a journal of it all and down the road when you are done with your journey on the rails, sell copies. I'm thinkin' you'll do good with that. Also, on the " No Comments " video you also loaded up, the train sounds were much better, for whatever reason. Happy railroadin' out there!

I found all these on Google Maps by putting Fostoria, Ohio in the search box. Back when I was 13 to 15 in the late 60's, I used to hop freight trains to escape Cleveland Ohio and go on adventures. I'm surprised you can get away with riding trains today.

I go over these diamonds almost every day. The transfers are horrible!! Only 10 MPH for the length of the whole train! Again, let us know again when you're going to be near Willard again. Stay safe man

I have caught Amtrak out of here a few times. The Amtrak does not go through there anymore. I remember there was heavy train traffic through there,

Would be really cool to see you ride through the South. All the southern states. The Mississippi River.

You could probably get a chain leash you wouldn't have to worry about it tearing. And I have a set of tracks that run right thru the back of my apartment I always watch to see if I can ever see anyone riding or see one of your tags on the train
