This song popped into my head today so I came along here. Coincidentally it was released 10 years ago from today. I remember watching and listening along to FTP music videos like this back then in high school, and they really helped me get through that time not knowing fully grasping how special and free those times were. Now I am an adult in his mid 20s and struggling with the realities of adulthood. I hope there are brighter days ahead and I get to taste that freedom of when I was younger again. Crazy how time flies by. Listening to this give me an existential rush.

I'm so happy I remembered this exact song and video. Such a classic!!

Torches was such a good album, and hearing this new tune from FTP brings a huge smile to my face. They haven't lost their touch.

Find wallpaper prints or paint it yourself! Legit nothing is stopping your bedroom walls from being this way. You can use rulers and measuring tapes and tape and paper and all sorts of tricks to make it happen if you’re not artistic!

Torches was, and is one of the greatest albums in the past decade - I'm very choosy when listening to music, and it is the only album on which I liked all the songs - hope this album will be the same :)

Not dissing Torches or anything, I like Torches, but that's a HUGE statement you're making. Keep in mind, when you call something a great album of a year, let alone a decade, you have to weigh in certain factors of the music like marketability, flow, originality and with age; legacy. I really liked Torches too but it barely made the top 10 of 2011 on my list. MGMT and beforehand, Of Montreal sort of dabbled with this sound in the past so innovation is left to be desired.

I disagree, though I liked Torches a lot. I'd rank torches at 8/10, but that's just my opinion. I am very excited for this album though. I think this will be my album of the year. The only problem I had with Torches was the lyrical content in most of the songs felt uninspired and not great. The second problem I had was some of the songs had these weird noise I couldn't stand. That's my opinion though, and regardless, it was a great album. I can't wait for this album.

ZazarStudios i can understand you. Mark Foster himself will agree with you that he made torches out of electronic sound than for sensible lyrics (Although I personally believe his lyrics which is scattered among his all songs in Torches in still awesome and have great meaning). I think Foster wants to make this album "Supermodel" be very lyric, human and real which is targeting totally different audience like you. Im expecting more from foster like more lyrics and music. Coming of age has just three paragraphs of real lyrics. But at end of the day, we just have to satisfy with music and beat I guess. I don't really see many people in industry who write lyrically strong anything anyway.

ZazarStudios Yea, I liked the songs but I thought the mix was pretty bad on some, pumped up kicks being the worst offender. I love that song, but I can't listen to it unless it's the live version because it sounds like a demo, which it basically is. I wasn't really into the electronic sound either. It seems like they really took their time to make this a good album though, and after hearing this song I have some pretty high hopes.

I'm sooooo happy they're back! Hands down one of my favourite bands.

Aww man can't wait for this album to come out. Been waiting for years for Foster The People to put out new music, love every single one of their songs and this one is just as great as the rest.

I just saw FTP in concert tonight along with a dedication of this mural in Los Angeles. It was a magical night that I won't soon forget. These guys can rock like nobody's business.

Wilson Nightstand Me too. :) It depends ... not always. As for indie music I like Bloc Party, too and alternative rock. Then some stuff from the 80s, mainstream and some pop music. However, many soundtracks/scores are awesome as well .... it's kinda hard to tell :D You?
