I met Frankie’s voice actress Grey DeLise at a ComiCon this past February. She’s one of the nicest and sweetest people I’ve ever met, and she’s incredibly affectionate with her fans. I told her that I had been watching her roles from the beginning when I was a little child, and she jokingly commented that “[she] raised [me] right!” I even have that quote written in the autograph she gave me. Watching this video, it’s dawning on me how much of her own kind and confident personality she put into Frankie. ☺️

Craig McCracken has gone on record saying Foster's production was SO easy on some episodes because they were using Adobe Flash and had animation from past episodes to reuse if the scene called for it. No doubt that made it easier to innovate with the art direction in certain episodes.

Madam Foster is literally proof that you can grow old and keep your imaginary friend. Mister Herriman is her imaginary friend.

It’s kinda shocking to me that Tom Kenny did Eduardo. I knew he could go deep with his voice, but still 😂 You put SpongeBob, Ice King, and the Mayor side by side, and you can here subtle similarities among all three of them (all relatively high-pitched and comedic vibe). But Eduardo is so distinct.

This show had the creativity, jokes, and mean spiritedness that I really enjoyed as a kid. It did also make me sad about forgetting about my own imaginary friend from when I was like 5.

Being an early 2000s kid made me very exposed to lots of Grey DeLisle’s early character portrayals: first it was Wubbzy, then Emily Elizabeth, Vicky, Azula, Sam, and THEN Frankie. One of the best voice actresses ever.

Tara Strong was my "holy shit she's everywhere" voice actress in the 90s/2000s. When I finally realized the concept of voice actors in multiple shows, I would start making connections like "Oh, Tara Lyn Charendoff is Bubbles in Power Puff Girls, and EG Daily who was Buttercup in PPG voiced Tommy in Rugrats, and Christine Cavanaugh voices Chuckie in Rugrats and Dexter in Dexter's Lab, and Jeff BENNETT in Dexter's Lab was..." Basically "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" but for voice acting.

I was born in 1997 and she’s been in literally every cartoon I’ve watched. I got to meet her at a convention last year and she’s really nice too!

Sad piece of trivia: it is said that Coco was created by a kid who was stranded on an island after a plane crash, a kid who likely passed away before Coco was found and sent to Foster’s

FUN FACT: The pilot to this series is over an hour long, but Cartoon Network split it into three parts, it wasn't until the ending of the show that CN allowed Craig to make a movie.

Fosters was on all the time growing up. I remember them advertising good wilt hunting for Thanksgiving and the Christmas episode every year

This was one of the many shows that got me into learning how to become an animator. I just love how creative the series was

Foster’s Home was a show I watched very little of as a kid. But I know I loved it a ton. I don’t think I remember it airing on CN too much but I know I have seen at least 15 episodes of the show. And yes. Frankie was always a highlight

Fun Fact for those that don’t know! The voice actor for Bloo is Keith Ferguson! And for people that know the show Wander Over Yonder he was Lord Hater! The voices for Bloo and Hater is CRAZY!

Parents in the Fosters universe must send their kids’ imaginary friends to Fosters more than the government sent native American kids to residential schools.

The premiere of this show was the first thing I remember actively being excited for as a kid, watching it as a full movie was an incredible experience

Dunno if I’d want to see them binge the whole show, but do wanna see the “everyone simps for Frankie” episode and “Mac accidentally makes another imaginary friend” episode.

I remember being both a huge fan of the show, but also kinda envious since (I kid you not) I remember having an idea for an eerily similar series when I was a kid. A large manner house inhabited by a bunch of random characters and creatures all learning to cope with each other’s own problems and quirks.

He did the songs to foster, power puff girls and samurai Jack. Those are some of the hardest cartoon intros there are. Gotta get back, back to the past samurai jack. That's one impressive resume.

Lol I’m actually watching king of the hill right now some 2-parter episode that has Peggy skydiving I like this show

The voice of Bloo is pretty well known for some of his voices. He's reaper in the overwatch games and often does imitation work for some characters in video games, like samurai jack or danny phantom. One of his most recent jobs unfortunately was Megamind from the crappy mini series and movie

I’m brought back to memories of Foster’s flash games. The game where we had to run and throw Blue around to keep him from getting adopted, and Mac opening Coco’s falling eggs for prizes.

The opening makes me think of Super Paper Mario. Each level starts out getting drawn and has the same aesthetic as Foster’s. Can we talk about how messed up the premise of this world is? Kids create sentient beings and then just toss them aside like they were actually imaginary. Mac’s mom makes him get rid of Bloo like he’s not a living being that’s been a member of the family since his creation. It’s worse than getting rid of a pet, it’s like putting a kid up for adoption, if not outright abandoning him on the side of the road. It’s horrible. And it happens enough a sweet old lady opens her home to these creatures so they don’t have to live on the street.

Look i know you probably wont watch it but i highly HIGHLY recommend you guys watch the show Duck Dodgers. Daffy Duck is a Space Captain and Porky is his Cadet. It is a combination of old space shows and movies like Star Trek and Star Wars and other things with Star in the name. It is hilarious and the theme song is sung by Tom Jones. They have a bunch of guest star voices. For example. The Martian robots are voiced by the same guy that played Commander Warg in Star Trek. Its a great show and its so nostalgic. Hopefully one day you guys will give it a try. TLDR If you enjoyed the Looney Tunes Show then you will love a Cartoon from the 2000's called Duck Dodgers

The hottest and funniest part about frankie is how openly unhinged and stressed she is. Super relatable.

What also blows my mind about this show is that Tom Kenny voiced Eduardo. As an adult it’s believable because Tom Kenny is an insanely talented voice actor, but as a kid my mind was blown when I found out SpongeBob voiced Eduardo.
