    I was born in 59 and watched these shows as they aired and agree the good days are gone but, so glad to have been part of them. Now 60 and in reflection, my memories have more character than current life experiences. Alas, I get more sentimental as years go bye. Thank you for the memories!

    I remember watching Foster Brooks as a kid, Dean Martin, Johhny Carson, Etc. The man was a comedic genius! Today, the sjw's and leftists would be burning down his house.     There were some great roasters in that generation but Foster Brooks topped them all. Dean Martin and Don Rickles could hardly keep it together. Every time he brought the house down. RIP the most sober drunk of all time.

    No doubt we’ve made progress in many areas over the years - and there are some fantastic comedians around today - but if we’re honest, so much of what’s supposed to be funny is just a lot of swearing and really dirty jokes. This is so different. Innuendo for sure, but clean language and genuinely side-splittingly funny. Foster Brooks is easily top 5 funniest blokes who has ever walked on God’s green earth.
