Just because you played two Forza games that were bad doesn't mean they are all the same. Forza Motorsport 3, 4, Horizon 1, 2 and 3 are actually good. GT cares so much about their car models that they will actually polish existing ones that were pretty much perfect before. Thats how much care they put into it just to make sure everything is perfect. Unlike forza that use outdated car models from the first game and then call them built from the ground up.

Yes, this is facts. For example take a look at GT6 premium model Silvia S15, in GT7 PD remade the whole car from scratch just to update their old GT6 premium car model that's already good, detailed, and accurate proportion to irl car. The effort PD puts in every GT franchise is insane, I'm not surprised if the next GT installment comes with a freshly remade car from the previous GT franchise, or even they'll be adding a feature like forzavista but only for the vr showroom. This is like a hard pill to swallow for forza fans, they can't deny this facts and it will always be like that.

Gt7 all the cars a exactly what they are bc in gt7 PD went out and found the car that they wanted to add or already had in the game and literally took thousands of pics of the cars that’s y they are so in depth and look so real even the tracks they went to them scanned them and took thousands of pictures yeah it sucks only having just over 400 cars in gt7 but all 400 cars are exactly what they look like and sound like irl especially look like 😊

Forza almost caught up with 3 n 4 but then just fell off.

FINALLY just bought GT7 after buying PS5 and GOD ITS SO MUCH BETTER THEN MOTORSPORT!!! Controller steering is SO MUCH better, i have so much FUN, there is even music, everything works so fast, smooth, so many details, photomode is a chef kiss. Gosh last time i played GT was in 2006 while i was 5 years old, glad to be back, so much fun compare to last Forza its i n s a n e

Dude, as someone who’s never played GT and only been playing Forza Motorsport/horizon for the past 5 years, I can tell you it doesn’t even compare to GT. I’ve gotten so sick of these outdated car models, and the fact that they just kept recycling them every time they made a new game shocked me. With Gran Turismo however, the car models ALONE have me sold. The only reason I don’t have the game is cause I only have XBOXs and I can’t afford a PlayStation right now.

@@freewayz32 it does not, the F40 got a significant remodel for FM5, now the whole thing has a lot better proportions, but is still far from a great model

And I have seen people say GT has too little cars. But PD takes their time to make sure each car is perfect before putting it into the game even if it’s a returning car from older games. And GT7 has engine swaps too but it’s not like forza where you swap the same v12 into every car. It’s realistic like for example the 787b engine goes in Mazdas only, and modern v8 for example from the corvette goes into many classic muscle cars and a few Nissan Silvias because it has been done in real life

Thanks, mate! I've upgraded to making higher-quality 4K videos instead of sticking with KZread's recommendations. Now, it takes about 30-40 minutes to render the video in the editing software. After that, uploading takes around 30 minutes, followed by another 30 minutes or more for KZread to process the video in 4K. So, it’s about 2 hours in total just to get the video live on KZread.

I think Forza's biggest strength that GT7 can nlt keep up with is: You can drive EVERY standard edition car for free in quick race mode (where you just pick a car and a track and setting that you like) outside the career

The mind blowing car details and amazing driving physics more than make up for the shitty carreer mode in gt7. The game isn't perfect but at least its very good at the important bits.

At 2 minute mark when you switch to GT7 the difference in the red popped

Yeah that rear mesh in Forza is...well...ugly. I thought the alpha blend was broken but when you showed the upclose shot, the density of the mesh grid is too big and narrow. It almost looks like the mesh isn't visible and the lights are floating. It should be an easy fix but upping the tile scaling but idk. Forza has been pretty lazy with this game so I don't have my hopes up high.

No way, I bet you're right; it really does look identical. I have yet to learn Substance Designer and Painter. I have the courses, but I'm currently working on level design. I want to get good at both Substance Designer and Painter.

Forza is the product of a DEI-obsessed company. Meanwhile, PD, which is a dominantly Japanese dev team produced a much better-looking game despite it being cross-gen. PD wasn't obsessed about their lack of diversity. They were obsessed with building a dev team that matched the passion Yamauchi had for cars.

Only a company obsessed with DEI crafts promotional material to emphasize the diversity of their staff. Who among those they interviewed were employed by Turn 10 back when they were making FM4, 5 and 6? Most of those interviewed look like new members. None of them look remotely like car enthusiasts. Why else would they work on unnecessary features (like creating modes to allow blind people to race)? Are blind people allowed to drive, let alone race, in real life? Yet, Turn 10's staff thought to include features meant for people who aren't allowed to participate in the activity their product was centered on. That screams DEI. Sure, DEI wasn't their only problem since upper management also had the controversy with their contracts - hiring part-time to avoid paying benefits. But then again, should we be surprised? People who virtue-signal the loudest are the ones doing the shadiest things behind closed doors. The corrupt and devious signal their virtue because they have no virtue or integrity at their core. Lastly, Turn 10 had 6 years to develop FM8. PD had 5 years to develop GT7. You can't say Turn 10 "rushed" things out of the gate because they had more time to develop than their competition. It's more like they wasted development time pandering to the woke mob that doesn't even buy their games than actually brain-storming how they can develop the best product for the fans that actually play their games.

Did you just learn about DEI so you just throw the term around for everything even when it makes no sense? Microsoft game studios contracts out all the devs and they keep them for 12 months, some get extended to 18 months. After that, they can not be rehired to work on a microsoft game for several months so most of them just move on. The result is that people never get very comfortable or good with the game engine or the vision of the game. Nothing to do with DEI. Microsoft does this to avoid having to give devs benefits, retirement, bonuses, or even decent pay.

The rust on the screws and bolts the faded paint the chipped interior paint is very well done you should check it out

At this point i'm convinved FM 2023 is just a new gen test mule for the Motorsport series like Forza 5 has been back then.

As someone who just bought a PS5 and PSVR2 I can only say that I deeply appreciate both the car detail as well as raytracing, because it feels like I am there in a real car racing other real cars. There are only tiny hints that take you out of the immersion. 4k displays still make it hard to notice licenseplate detail in the distance, and at 4k you still notice a tiny bit of mura (color static) from the OLED display but due to its diamond subpixel layout you don't need anti-aliasing (smooth lines everywhere!). Also of course the 110 degree FOV gives you diving glasses sight, especially if you also have to wear glasses which will put more distance between you and the lenses and screens.

Bro you should make a video showing "built from the ground up" in terms of model transition. The recent GT7 update contained standard models from old games that became premium, you should use that as a basis for the video hehe

OMG when you referred to Forza's door strikes as a rough minge had me fucking dieing! If you don't know what that is DO NOT Google it in a public place LoL. That headlight animation has me angry as well. If I saw headlights open that quickly and stiff on the PS2 I'd have been on with it. But for a current title to mess up that badly is inexcusable. The only thing GT7 seem have gotten wrong with the GT40. Is flashing high beams. When driving during day time and you flash the high beams on the real car, the flip lights don't come up. Instead a the lower lights flash. As far as I've seen in GT7. The flips lights will come up. Only screw up I found on it.

Poseo ambas consolas y ambos juegos, he de decir que los entornos, efectos, detalles en pista y físicas me gustan más en Forza, simplemente se ve y siente más realista que en GT, Respecto al modelado de los vehículos…. Es cierto que ciertas texturas de la chapas de los coches parecen plasticosas en Forza, especialmente los colores rojos y azul, no preguntéis por qué, pero en líneas generales los efectos de reflejos y detalles durante el juego que es lo que interesa y no en parado, me siguen pareciendo mejores en Forza. En definitiva le pongo un 8,2 a Forza y un 7,8 a GT; porque además me parece en el estado actual de actualizaciones mucho más divertido Forza. Saludos amigos y por favor no lloréis!! Regarding track detail, I'm not sure how you can say one is more realistic than the other. For instance, GT7 replicates the tracks almost perfectly, as it does with the cars. GT7 is much better in my opinion in terms of graphics, but one thing that is possible to notice in FM8 is that the lighting in various parts has many different colors compared to past games or PS4/xOne games in general, I'm talking about global illumination, if you put a filter on to see the color temperature you can see this but in my opinion, it doesn't justify it being released for New Gen Could you compare the FM5 vs FM8 vs GT7 models?

Question for anyone who'd know: The Forza car is making really exaggerated hydraulic sounds on gear shift, is that a known F40 thing that Polyphony have missed or is that not meant to be there?

It's another Forza total fucked up cause it's generic blow-off sound for many turbo cars in Forza. IRL F40 doesn't have blow off valves, it had bypasses which do not make a "psshhh" sound. Another point is increasing noise of the growing boost is perfectly distinguishable as the engine speed increases in GT7, what is not heard in the Forza.

​@M-hq9xz In most cases, GT7 tracks look better and more accurate. Brands Hatch being the newer track added to FM, is one of the rarer cases where it actuallyblooks good. Probably the only track in my opinion, where I like the Forza version more. Grass is still hideous in every track though. You can barely see the 3D grass, therefor it makes it look stupid smooth. Grass is way thicker and more noticeable in GT7 on all tracks. It makes the track look better when it doesn't look so smooth or flat like FM.

Also, most of the time, even the asphalt is way more textured in GT7. Again, looking smooth in most tracks on FM. The BIGGEST detail FM has over GT7....is the 3D trees. There's some 3D trees on certain tracks in GT7 though. Besides, he has done several videos on not just cars, but track details too....

All things considered while gt7 is definitely better, I think both games have excellent models.

This is why I love GT7, they take their time on cars and will even polish them so they look even nicer in game after being scanned. I love how they have VR mode, and in theory, if Microsoft ever allowed GT7 to be on Xbox I feel like GT would surpass Forza in players and would likely be the top racing game of Xbox, and after years of the devs working their asses off, they've finally balanced the game, and from now on, I feel like the player count of GT itself, there is likely going to be an increase every year, if not, every month, week, day, new players would come to play GT. I love GT for their time and care they put into their game.

I was playing The Crew Motorfest just under 24 hours and I was looking at some of the models of one of their cars, their models looks so damn amazing! Not like GT7 amazing but way much better than what FM2023 has to deliver us. Heck, even the car models from NFS Heat still looks amazing despite being a 5 year old game.

Great video man! If Turn 10 was really concerned about the details and quality, the executives should put this video everyday for their developers to learn where to improve. Maaaaaan, I've been out of state on vacation for 2 weeks and 2 days, and I guess maybe all this time, I was just adjusting to FM's visuals or something, because i turned it on as soon as I got home to catch up on the career to get the reward cars, and the game looks worse than I remembered...or my brain tricked me into thinking it got visually better over time. 😂😂😂 Everything just looks so smooth like an N64 textured environment. Lol. Maybe thats exaggerating a little, but wtf? Since I caught up for the career, I turned GT7 on before the weekly resets, since I wanted my rewards. And then im just amazed at the photo realism the game offers. Yes, trees are 2D on almost every single map, but its done in a good way, and doesn't matter when speeding by anyways. Everything else just looks beautifully done. Maybe I'll adjust to Forzas visuals again now that im home, and maybe I'll hardly notice it again. Right now, its just nice to play. I even gave ACC a try finally...feels amazing, but looks like ass to me now that ive played it myself and not just going off videos

The disappointing thing about the GT7 is that the sound quality is inferior to the image quality. As a result, the sound quality ruins the ambience of some cars. If the visual quality and sound quality matched, it would be the ultimate ideal racing game.

The quality difference tells me Polphony has managed to keep a lot of their experienced developers with them while Forza's working with interns

Yeah I played Forza Motorsport, it’s fun, but I was looking for simcade, it felt horizon in the tracks, arcade physics, support of g920 on both forza horrible, not the case for gt7 with the g29, and even dual sense, beautiful experiencie

Lost it at the gas pedal. 😆 PS5 and VR looks super kinky! BUT! I have to admit the PS4 version of GT7 needs some better performance options, though. A custom race with 20 cars (with highly detailed liveries) will almost certainly create issues. Not completely down to Forza levels though. It would just be nice to move some sliders - you know... like most PC games lets you.

Because they do in real life. I picked up my friends manual ZL1 1LE from being ceramic coated while he was out of state, because his wife can't drive manual. It still has paddles, but they're for rev matching.

First needs to upgrade man.... Love Forza though it's fun because you can swap your engine and do whatever you want, but gt7 is fun and more immersive due to the controller steering. Both great games in my opinion, and this is from somebody who religiously plays every gran turismo Sence GT3 A SPEC, heck I Even bought a brand new PS2 controller just to play GT3 A SPEC and feel the nostalgia.

On one side you have a dev team (dedicated) that's been on GT for how long now? I remember playing GT1 like 25 years ago. They've got it down. Microsoft on the other hand rotates employees every 18 months to avoid having to pay benefits. So the studio is a constant fuckery of people coming and going. Leaving projects unfinished because welp my 18 months is up, gotta go. Replacing that person with someone who has no clue as to what's going on. Microsoft is destroying every single franchise they buy. They don't care about the games, the community, nothing, and it shows. Just about quick $

The only thing that Forza got right by the looks of it is that you see the carbon-weave through the paint. Could also be low resolution.. 🙄🤣

So when he literally plays both games, and also shows that he plays FM not only on Xbox, but also plays it on PC, somehow that isn't experience? Out of every FM, and I've played them all since the first and been a huge fan since, this has been the most boring of them all. Unless you mainly play free play or online, because the career is extremely short, then you're left with that. GT7, especially in VR, is always more engaging and never has a boring moment, whether it's racing, or looking at the cars in showroom, or looking at them if you can't buy them with your credits. The Cafe kept took me longer to complete than FM's career, and there are still weekly races and daily races to complete. You can mess around with scapes mode with hundred of real locations around the world to make realistic photos if you're into that, and GT7's more complex photo mode. You have missions or licenses to do as well. Some stuff may not be everyone's cup of tea, but honestly, this FM hasn't been the most fun. It's very short, and very basic. I want it to get better though. I still play it often to finish a new series that comes out each week, which lasts like an hour, then wait for next week's series....

@joescivic GT7 seems like the same old game, only more menus, which takes more time to customize cars and start races. Forza seems more enjoyable and new compared to boring GT7. It seems like the car physics are stationary, and the track moves around the cars. When you slide and crash it, it really looks like an arcade game from the 1990s.

@MrHemikid426 and you can still adjust the camera chase cam settings to show more movement. Besides, stop racing in 3rd person. Kind of defeats playing any racing game like a sim. Problem solved. Don't have to look at the "stationary" view. Sounds like you just copy and paste what you see others say anyways. Besides, actual sim racing games use that "stationary" camera too. It sure does make it easier to use a more stiff camera for us wheel users. But I don't use that view unless I'm just checking things out. It's not a crashing simulator, so try to stop crashing and you won't worry about how it looks. Most of what you said is your opinion anyways. So have at it. Opinions are neither right or wrong. 🤷‍♂️

@@olavofernandes7286 It might be the KZread compression and such, because when I google "Rosso Corsa Red", the Forza color in this video for some odd reason looks more 'accurate' to real life light interval. (Which is weird, because so many other colors do absolutely not look better.) I might need to boot up the game and check for myself. Still, this video is the only odd one out though in terms of color reflection.

@@andreasmoller9798 Forza Motorsport 1 through 4 were absolutely stellar and way way way better than anything Gran Turismo was putting out at the time. With FM5 they started slacking. GT7 just completely blew everyone away and is just the king of car detail since it released and left FM in the dust.

You do know GT Sport is the game before GT7, right? Came out for the same generation Playstation as GT7. 2021 car models make no difference. T10 does not have the same passion Polyphony has when it comes to the extra little details...and on top of that, doing the details right. Sure they can make a car look the part, but 9 times out of 10, even the new cars get messed up. Cars feel amazing on my Fanatec DD+. There's so much more feel of the road and car than I ever felt on my last wheel setup. If you're on controller, you're simply missing out. I say this all as a diehard Forza fan, but even I have the integrity to admit when something I normally would stand up for, messed this one up. Being a fan of something doesn't mean meatriding them, even when they failed to deliver their false promises.

good lord.............I was expecting maybe some subtle differences and the occasional fanboy or girl going reeeeeee reeeeeee reeeeeee but the difference in quality is way too much to ignore and pass off. Polyphony digital is just laying and slaying it in the racing genre between the two. My guess is turn ten studios should just hang up the towel or hire people that give a damn about what they are doing because this is very unacceptable in terms of quality control.

GT7 looks better but Gran Turismo 7 lowers the quality too much when you are driving
