It's crazy, but I first found you through Minecraft well over a decade ago. I might not watch that stuff anymore, but I am absolutely excited about this kind of content!

Thing is, when you move from sim to real cars, you gain senses, the G's and all the feels on your butt, but then when moving from real to sim you lose senses, so it's understandable that a real driver would struggle with simracing, you're taking years of practice feeling things that suddenly, are gone. You can see it happen when Ben Collins (former Stig) tried Jimmy Broadbent's sim rig.
Simulation to in car is an easy translation because you add more senses. In car to sim you lose feeling. It’s one of the big things with airline simulators. They make them actuate so that pilots get actual practice
"How do I look?" "With your eyes, Jordan." Ernie from Sesame Street
this was some TOP NOTCH editing. Really well conveyed the thrills and chills from the speeding and autocross. LOVED IT! more please! Was the drone footage/gopro footage provided by the Forza team or was it your camera person?
Who ever is doing that drone footage is wild
Editing the revs in time with the music is so cool, I love it! From a fellow composer/producer 😊
you are living my dream life bro! Keep it up jordan :)
From modded minecraft survivals to surviving the race track. I'm so proud and glad ive been able to experience jordan branching out and trying all the things over the past decade and a half. Love to see the more frequent uploads to this channel as minecraft isn't my biggest niche anymore. Keep it up forever ❤.
9:29 I think it’s just because the massive amount of extra feedback you get when in a real car compared to controller or even a rig. IRL you can actually use all of your senses (in addition to it actually being really feedback from connection to the track). I guess there could also be a confidence thing. Maybe as a race car driver you come to gaming all cocky and chuck it in, where as coming from gaming when you get in a real car, even though you’ve done it a million times digitally, you’re careful because the consequences are higher. Then all you have to do is increase your confidence to drive faster
Let’s get some videos of the mono r on track!
Same, man. Big hot dog energy 🌭
Glad I’m not the only one that flies off the first turn on Lime Rock…
The drone footage was really cool!
Ngl I stopped watching the main channel a long time ago for the most part. But I love when Jordan posts something on this channel, it’s always something interesting. I’m not even a car person! Lol
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JORDAN 🎉🎉
you are living the dream man, enjoy and please keep sharing!
been watching on and off since 2012 and now that I’m 23, and into cars myself seeing you being able to race vettes is awesome man. Please make more of this type of content! Would love to see more car / driving stuff
I think the reason it is harder to go from real to sim is because the sim doesn't give you the passive feedback you get from g forces (via accelerating, braking or turning) as well as the vibration you feel from the tires gripping the road. They're both quite useful in telling how much speed you can take into a turn without breaking traction. Also in a sim you will likely go all out and dial your speed down since there's no risk from crashing, simply reset and try again slightly slower.
That is such a dream come true! Truly! Congrats man
Congratulations on 400k subscribers on this channel, Jordan. I know that your main is CaptainSparklez, but to me you will forever be known as "Pro's don't talk sh*t".
9:28 yeah I’ve experienced this first hand and actually just outperformed a bunch of people in faster cars on track. To be fair it was the Novice group but they’re still enthusiasts and it was my first time on a track
Gotta love it when i see a Jordan vid in my sub box!
Love more content on this channel!
I've driven 130 in a c8 at the track across the street from the factory. It's such a fun car, especially for the money.
I like the Radio guy lol
Need more car vids!!
its crazy watching my childhood minecraft youtuber do this shit
Is this first Forza Horizon reference?! We can wait for Forza Horizon 1 Remastered?!
holy content
J, My Heart skip a bit after the hand issue at 12:23. OMG
13:47 freaking hilarious joke
The first thing that came up to my mind while watching this video is the "gran turismo" movie.
it would've been hilarious if you added random artifacts to the video, lowered the resolution, and put a bad filter over the whole video. That would've much better represented the current Forza experience!
They put you in a Hans, but a hans is completely useless without a multipoint harness. The standard 3 point lap belt does nothing for it. Most definitely a flair that Microsoft added to make it feel more racey
Re: SimRacing -> IRL Driving working better than IRL -> Simracing is because IRL has more information. When you take a sim driver and put them in a real car, there's everything they're used to, plus more info. For a real driver into a sim they're losing a lot of instinctive "Butt Feel" that they rely on to drive the car. That's why it really works better in one way than the other. Almost every IRL driver who has gotten into the sim after only irl driving says that they're missing so much info
Nice, Need for Speed💥🚘
The only thing I can relate to Jordan on now Playing Forza Motorsports If only I could have the experience of driving a corvette
Im so used to seeing the doors go up on those because of one youtuber so seeing the doors just open normally is weird
for some reason forza was always harder to me on the wheel. theres weird understeer and oversteer on track that other games i would be much more comfortable and it would feel more realistic. ive tried messing with settings for FF but never could find the right ones. Great game on controller to me though. and Great video
I hope you will play the game on your sim on stream. It looks fun.
thinking about why from real to sim doesn't translate the same as sim to real, and i have a guess. when you go from sim to real you get more feed back than from real to sim, you get less physical feedback. both teach you where everything hypothetically would be. and the most general feel but unless you've got the most balling out of control sim the real thing just has more information via feedback than a sim does. IE the feeling of a car breaking in sim VS real, your sim only has your eyes generally speaking, where as real, you see and feel whats going on in that seat and have more info on what the situation is and if you wanted to change it exactly how much of an action you need to preform to affect that change. but idk im just some dude on the internet. anyone else have any thoughts?
The Graphics are so realistic what are your specs?!
Should have played video games for a living damn
Is the instructor that guy from DudePerfect?
:D
Le mans? French youtuber f2 race?
First one in 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Are you crazy? This is way better than forza!!!!!!!!
