I searched for ai cheating but not yet found out what happened to me.. was chilling offline after I accidentally accepted a head to head without even knowing. I again accidentally entered a head to head offline with a class d car, I was in a class a.. it started and the class d car disappeared so I carried on following the GPS and all of a sudden it said you have lost..

In head to head races the ai tend to go off the road and go through fields to reach the end as fast as possible.

That reminds me of how in New Vegas, NPCs would *actually walk across the map* when they traveled somewhere. One of them liked to travel through a dangerous area of the desert, so you'd be halfway across the map and get a "quest failed" notification as a main character got radscorpioned.

gran turismo 7: we had the most AI rubber band forza franchise: hold my drivatars

I had some lambo teleport in front of me in an S2 road race. Only it didnt teleport on the road, but into a tree on the side of the road , so it didnt get very far lol

Shinza know some secret shortcut lol

He turned into a ghost so I’m pretty sure he’s online - your car won’t turn into a ghost offline

Had a similar experience in MotorStorm Pacific Rift. An AI racer somehow passed me and ended up really far ahead. It wasn't till much later that I found out that some tracks are a tad broken with respawns where it'll sometimes respawn AI far ahead of you when they wreck themselves or fall off course.

a motorstorm reference in the wild, thats rare. Also had a similar situation in apocalypse, while playing online in one of the subway circuits, I respawned outside of the circuit and came last place to put the cherry on top.

Had this happen in FH4 in a Trial, an AI skipped half the course and DNF'ed everybody.

I raced the Goliath on new driver. S2 Ferrari f50 gt. Time 11 minutes. Drivatar in second place 11.30 minutes. On the rivals leader board 11:30 is in the top 1% by a lot

Why are people getting so confused if these are AI or not? AI can have player names, all you need to do to find that out is to play offline, drivatar glitches happen all the time in forza. they are AI.

In FH4, I pushed an AI to go around a checkpoint and the AI actually respawned, so I guess in FH5 they aren't.

I've seen several time they are not respawn just keep driving however their placement never go up so checkpoint is actually required even for bot. In this case there are no paths to cut through anywhere, so I believe this is a bug.

they are just programed to stay close to the "racing line", if you slam them hard enough to break their pathfinding they respawn. But, no, they dont give a crap about checkpoints

I'm assuming you're asking about the vehicle I'm driving, it is the 1985 Porsche #185 959 Prodrive Rally Raid . The livery I have on it is called "Jurassic Park" and is made by DarthServipas, the share code for it is 179 858 700.

I think you had some issues with your network, it shows it clearly when you started the race. A poor network can make things really messy in an online race (there was another blue player with you)

This video wasn't real-time online race. All other cars are AI, not controlled by real player

Ai mimic the drivetar and if the driver it self is cheating then the ai drivetar wil cheat 2 i think thats whats happening

Not really. Their pathfinding just isn't good. If you watch the lambo actually goes off the track at some point. It then gets lost and the game for whatever reason teleports him into first. I've literally watched it happen in some custom routes and even in regular races like this. It's not a drivitar thing

@@Nijonibi Most of the time they can. Road races? Cars like a Mercy will do fine. But the game doesn't give AI rally/offroad tires for stuff like dirt racing or cross country. So they end up going wide on corners because they don't have the proper grip. But then why they teleport 20 miles in front of you instead of back to where they originally went off the track is still a mystery to me

You can really see how Forza can resell a dogshite game to people over and over if people think the AI 1) Doesn't rubberband (lmaono) 2) Didn't blatantly teleport to first. This is one of many reasons why I don't care about any of PGG's stupid rules or "intended game experience" (Seriously, who the hell do these people think they are telling me how I'm supposed to play a game I payed for). I just mod the cars I want to drive in, play around with them driving around the map like a psychopath, then go have an actual fun time racing on Gran Turismo 4, Sport, or 7

It is an online match, I believe it was a Horizon Tour. The blue are actual players, and the red are AI-controlled Drivatars. I think it's because of cheating like this that the red team is no longer Drivatars, and instead are just AI characters you meet in the game.
