And I will say I have a personal tune I use that's different from the one in this video that's a bit faster than what's shown here and I've ran from what I know to be the fastest RTRs in the game and they're only about a car or so faster than me. Tip guys, AWD isnt always faster, i smack awd cars because of their weight, those 200LB they reduce from AWD to RWD . Puts in work.

That's true with many cars, but in this instance The AWD spec 5 is faster than the RWD. I've yet to see a RWD spec 5 (including my own) touch a decently tuned AWD spec 5.

People that aren't aware of this car being faster when AWD will see your comment and think this is a slower tune because its not RWD. I appreciate you clarifying on your part but I just want to make sure people know that's not the case with this specific car.

Depends on the car really with all that power and torque I still first off the line and finish the same always ahead taillights what most see from my tune.. AWD for the rtr s5 is much faster then rwd.. my awd acts like a rwd car anyways.. the differential is set perfect and torque still mostly goes to the rear.. my gt sirhopzz. If ya wanna try my drag tune its avail . See for yourself probably will like it.

Yea I agree with this lol and I have 2 cars that can beat almost any Diablo. The McLaren F1 GT and the Noble M400 (car pass car). When I say these both beat Diablos they literally haven't lost yet for me at least. Ill be making videos on the tunes soon but if you want to use the tunes now follow my account at "TunedByZelo" and check my storefront on Horizon 5 and you should see them. Be sure to use launch control if you use them.

Yoo so I trap out at 231-232 so good stuff bro 👍🏻 quick question tho I seen people trap out at the festival strip camera at 236-240, what tuning settings do I need to play wit to increase the speed at the camera?(gears, suspension, etc…)

It's usually gearing and the diff that can give you a better trap speed but trap speed does not mean the car is faster. I used to tune based off trap speed and was shown its about your 60ft off the line more than anything. I used to trap 234mph which from what I've seen is as fast as you can get at the trap speed camera but had a friend who only trapped 232 gap me because he was faster off the line. My new tune now is much faster because I tuned for a quicker launch.

Damn that’s wild this whole time I thought it was the trap speed camera that was messing me up.. I’ll def work on the launch some more, does the same concept apply with the gears and diff when working on launch or is it more suspension based?

@@donmerta1693 Its kind of the same thing just shortening up the 1st gear. Suspension will always also be important but your gearing and diff can do the most when it comes to the launch. Just know your trap speed probably wont be very good even if your launch feels amazing. That's just the way it goes.

this build does a low 13 I think. I found it slow compared to my personal tune getting to 12.73 at 153mph

Yes I have everything like abs traction and stability all off. Make sure you're always doing a burnout before each of your runs to avoid spinning. If you're still spinning you can try lowering your final drive to about 2.35 or less until it stops spinning for you. Let me know if this helps!

Make sure to use regular steering and not simulation(unless you're tuning for fwd cars, wich will be faster with)

Both are very fun but if you're talking about which one is faster in a straight line its the RTR assuming both are tuned properly.

Haha yea those dudes in that lobby kept jumping on the horn so I had to jump with them. And yea I've revised this tune since and run normal launch control now. Definitely much quicker now but the launch on this tune is probably the easiest for anyone who struggles to get off the line and spins with other tunes.

I spin out everytime after1st gear , how do you get that launch smooth everytime

Are you burning out the tires before each run? cold tires will cause some traction loss with this tune. Also make sure you're using the advanced launch control method. If neither of these tips helped you let me know and ill help you figure out the problem!

Don't pay attention to in game stats they aren't accurate. I could easily lower the 0-60 by just shortening the 1st gear ratio but that would cause the tires to spin. You should be going by the feel of how it launches.

Make sure your car has the "Rally Springs". Having any other springs may not allow you to get certain spring rates that I have shown here.

@@Eric.31107 Very interesting, It might just be because of your units in the settings. Depending on where you're from or the units you use it might show a different number in the tuning section. For this tune I have the spring rate as low as possible so just try lowering them all the way down and it should still be fine. It the tune doesn't seen to work like shown in the video you can also use my share code!

Yup. Used for slip because the diff being set at almost even will make the car bog out when launching if you turn the psi all the way down. Try the setup yourself and you'll see what I mean.

I literally went until the end of my 4th gear and stayed in it longer than most people do which is once they hit the speed camera. Notice how they flew off road and onto the dirt while I stopped right at the end of the track? that's because I hit the brakes at the very last second. Regardless id love to see your own RTR tune stay out in front of a Diablo GTR like mine did little man 🤷‍♂️

Awesome! Yea this tune is a little more conservative then it really needs to be but I did that so it can be consistent for any launch people give it. It can definitely be faster but wasn't as consistent with all launches with the shorter 1st gear. Glad you were able to make yours faster though! great job!
