@@mattmanley7118 while it does not increase horsepower, it keeps your turbo spooled and thus you get much less turbo lag, thus, faster car.

@@JadenWeeks the thing is horizon turbos have never worked like real life. there is barely any boost building, by the time you're at a bit of throttle you're making full boost. the anti lag kind of becomes pointless since there really isnt turbo lag in forza horizon.

I'm usually a supercharger guy, I like the "whee"s. But now with antilag I might use turbos for those machinegun sounds.

I am genuinely surprised they haven't added Hydraulics into the game yet. The anti lag goes hard still.

Now that we have antilag, we need bigger and different flames coming out of the exhaust. Something like Assetto Corsa but bigger. Other than that, perfect update

talking about drag racing, some drag racing story has been leaked in the files, and the rimac nevera was part of it. due to the nevera's insane launch, could this be a hint towards this.

the '06 Evo MR has the most insane anti lag of every car I've driven so far

Considering how slow updates have trickled in so far I'm honestly surprised we got all these features in a single drop. This is going to be fun!

One hidden thing is that when u go on dirt ur car gets much more dusty/dirty

​@@LoserSnoozer no in the new map there's genuinely better sand and dirt physics as well as terrain deformation. Like sand can waft up onto the bonnet like in Dakar. They talked about it on the Forza showcase on KZread.

Great update but imo it would be good to have an exhaust tuning section for the amount of overun on the exhaust.. I'd like a bit more of a subtle effect sometimes

I test out launch control and anti lag in a rivals race and in theory it should make you faster of the line in sprint like races and maybe drag racing possibly

15in-18in conversion for the rear tires would be a great update also if you're able skinny fronts as well they could affect your turning but take your weight down

I agree, the tire sizes for cars typically used in drag racing need to have more options as well as more wheels too.

How many skills issues today nick?

This doesn’t work on the new Safari turbo I don’t know if it’s because it’s diesel or not but right after I tried it on the S1 Quattro and it worked perfect I’m pretty sure they added the upgraded tire sizes for pick ups and that also didn’t work for the Safari turbo but I didn’t try on anything else so it might not work or it also might not be in the game yet I’m not sure on that part.

A wheel and tire overhaul update would be perfect. Imagine if you could not only change tire size, but also make wheels SMALLER in the rear, like a true drag pack setup? Then they could make it so we could set two different types of wheels front and back, like stock wheels up front and Welds in the rear, or you could mix and match how you like.

the new tire profile was something ive been waiting for, so many offroad rigs with dinky tires that dont really match arent going to be a problem anymore. and now led lightbars. i hope they make more offroading customization options and tuning in the future.

Its already a thing somewhat, thats what he was referring to when he said some people were saying antilag is already in the game.. they were actually talking ab 2 step, its kind of buggy though and hard to change which RPM but it is there. Have to be manual w clutch and something with the ebrake to adjust RPM

@@I-dont-reply you have a really good point, but then again, they got a little adapter that gives you paddles on the back, which you also get on the highend xbox controllers, and you can change your layout/ what button does what, I know there's a specific term for it, I just can't think of it.

@@bclilboostd it just wouldn’t work. PS users wouldn’t be able to take advantage of the features & most people probably don’t have that adapter. Wouldn’t make sense for a game company to add stuff a small minority of people can use.

I just started playing again recently and I love the Nissan 240 SX with the rocket bunny kit by wish you could add bash bars to it. It would be awesome to see in the game.

Lfa + anti lag turbo = a masterpiece

Tbh. I want adjustable launch control. Like that shouldn't be a difficulty thing, it should be a tuning option and an upgrade for all cars. An auto set feature would also be a nice touch as an option cusse that can be a bit of a hard thing to tune in but having control over it would be nice. Especially for drag tunes.

I already busted when I saw the thumbnail, my room is now a sticky winter.

Setting 1st gear to max out at 50mph with anti-lag. Makes roll races like Texas2k easier now.

They definitely understand an update like this is needed. And boi did they deliver.

I love the new update only a few suggestions though, better flames they looking small and kinda weird? Also can we get some more tire smoke when doing stationary burnouts, or even have the most stay around longer when we drifting?

the pickups as props are great for city maps but I still want emergency vehicles as props. I actually put it in the car featuring voting. I think eventlab junkies will freak even more.

Oh I’m so happy, my brother and I made a agreement that I play on my ps5 on tuesdays, Thursday’s, and Saturday. And tommorrow is Wednesday well today so I get to play on his Xbox 😅

I would love to see offroad suspension that lifts the car up quite a bit and the tire size upgrade on every single car. Just imagine kitting out any supercar to be an offroad car, that would be so sick!

This is the update the game needed, since the new game came out there's been less burbles and pops. I would love to have a more chill version that mixes in burbles pops and flames

It’s sounds so nice I just played it I was using an Ferrari and it was nice ah driving fast and hearing it pop when u let of gas

I’ll have to check out the good old Ironman Toyota 010 trophy truck when I get off work (thats the T100 for those not super keen on chassis numbers) and see what I can do there

my favorite one was the Cadillac Limo's anti lag! it makes popping noises from the exhaust!

I would fall in love instantly if there were actual dragstrips you can go to instead of the makeshift strips. And i also wish you could use the starting line like real life, where you actually have to properly stage the car to get the tree to work.

I love the fact that they added launch control and antilag but I feel like they should make antilag more realistic and also let us tune anti-lag so we can set what RPM antilag would work at same thing for launch control

It’s cool they did that to tire height, now for a drag update they need to do width

I REALLY like anti-lag and LC (which you could sort of do with a M/C set-up by holding E-brake and gas)

In regards to the tire size, they need to make this available for Rally tires because in the world of rally , FH5 size is way too small compared to what actual rally tires are like in the world. They need it to be available on all compounds.

The tire size options need to be on every car, period. We also **NEED** the option to go down in wheel size instead of only up. Some cars come with 19-20" wheels or bigger and they look dumb when you put aftermarket wheels on them. Example: The FK8 Civic Type R. It comes with 19s or 20s stock, which is dumb AF, IMO. I would love to be able to put 18s on it with a slightly bigger sidewall/tire profile size.

Ok, the Hoonicorn is now my favorite car in FH5. It kinda already was, and it certainly is in real life, but now I absolutely love it.

LC has technically been in the game already, but you have to downshift and upshift to engage it. Now they've added an official way of engaging it

That was just a rev limited launch, this uses various data points for a full controlled launch.

the jeep track hawk can now be the perfect drag build as you can make the rears bigger and lower the tire profile

ayo nick now that there are more off-roading options, you should redo the video about the best offroader because it would make more sense to do the exact same video but in the rally expansion map due to it's insane offroading areas

drag tire/size and i dont know but having possibilities to upgrade the boost psi.. example a car that is topping off 22 psi making it to 40psi example.... high hp gain that would be sick timming , fuel grade

Some features I’d like to see are: Hood exit exhausts, Drag radials ad you said Rolling coal tho I think with the eco direction forza is pushing I doubt that’ll happen, And more race style aero bits such as GT wings and spitters similar to the Bentley continental. And I think some sort of anti lag tunninh to not only change the aesthetic properties but also have mechanical benefits

I wish they would add different branded blowoff valves + wastegate + intercoolers + turbo timers + boost gauges + rev gauges monster tach oil temp, neons etc a real ricer update would be amazing # fast and furious

launch control has been in forza since horizon 3 from rolling into a hard brake. then hold gas and brake until revs it holds halfway then pop and hold the clutch. every car does it and holds close to half way thru rpms

Anti lag works on the vw caddy with the diesel motor...also be good if they added exhaust tips

Wish they would add different rims front and back, interior gauges, bigger flames, actual weight reduction

100% these will be in the new Forza Motorsport now. I’d also like to see with the launch control, something that the original TDU had which was it tells you how fast the car actually did 0-60mph or 0-100kph when launch control was engaged.
