I was playing around with it myself last week, but didn't really thought it felt good. Guess I was wrong! Also try the GT-R R35 Black edition. You can get that into A class. Pretty good I'd say.

He uses the best tunes from Nalak28 which handle really well and also uses a braking line. Pretty easy to win in those cases. Not saying he isn't good though because he definitely has skill as well, but I try to learn the track without braking lines personally because it's funner that way instead of being told how to race.

I absolutely love the LFA. I'd like to race it in S1, even if it might not be the best. The Aero really makes a difference. BUT IT'S SO UGLY! So ugly that I'd rather not drive the LFA at all.

That's why it sucks that you have to add other wings to get the aero tuning. Also people who swap engines alot, I can't stand. I always like using the stock engine if it's viable.

The best part of all your videos is seeing you beat all the rammers lmao.

I’ve been messing around with the S2 to S1 downgrading quite a lot and found a couple decent cars: Apollo IE, Ferrari FXX and FXX K, Laferrari, F50 GT, Koenigsegg CCGT, AMG ONE, Zonda R, 918 Spyder, RXC Turbo. Other cars that didn’t work as well were the Divo, Sesto, Senna, Zenvo, 599XX Evo, and Huayra BC. I think most cars below S2 970 can be downgraded. Pretty much all of them are AWD too. A lot of them did require off-road race, snow, or even drag tyres, and a lot of tuning, but still provide really good handling. However, drag tyre downgrades only really work on dry roads. Also for S1 to A class downgrades the Ferrari Portofino and the Huracan LP can be quite good. Just thought I would share what cars I tested so far, because it’s kinda fun to downgrade cars.

they don’t exist or rarely do because of the new system they added later in 4 where if you try to ram go you get ghosted or when hitting a wall you get punished for that

@@RacingKitty64 true, I have been in some online races, but best i got was at least one rammer who failed horribly and some others with some punting and shoving which I associate more with dirty driving than rammers tbh. But still less rammers then last game’s launch, which is pretty neat.

Great video, if you're up for a challenge by any chance have you tried using the gumout FD Corrolla in S1 dirt races? I've found that with AWD and rally tires/suspension it's actually quite good in some of the faster trails since it has insanely high starting HP for its class, and the fact that it's already super light as a drift car with a short wheelbase makes it handle better than you'd expect.

Just won 2 races in a row with your tune online. Definitely solid. One of those races was the marathon as well

horizon 5 has the most variety of S1 cars i've ever seen. I love it! a lot of cars i didn't use in FH4 because they're stuck in S2, but in FH5 i can have F40C, P1, Lambos all in S1 it's so good (altho they don't have the most ideal levels of handling). Thoughts on the P1 and F40C viability at S1 online racing?

The handling won't feel great and will be floaty due to using non-conventional tires.

Finally the Veneno goes as fast as it looks :D

yes i agree with you... since i play Forza Horizon 2, first time when i use Veneno, its very stable car, from braking, speed, take all the corners just like peace of cake... from there, i take all prize money just adding some collection on the garage, for speed or speed trap i still prefer Hennesey Venom GT, but racing i only use The Veneno....

Some FD cars are really good off-road in S1, you should try them out

First the Veneno was an S2 998 beast for dry races on Forza Horizon 4. And now it’s been nerfed/downgraded to S1 class… I guess I’ll have to try making my own S2 class tune with it.

Veneno was never a dominant S2-Class car in the Dry in FH4. The slick tires S2-Class car (F40C, F50 GT, CCGT, Zonda R) dominates in the dry. Veneno is a wet car in S2, it is still strong but not dominant.

it feels like a lot of S2 cars became S1

hey, i was wondering about caster; whenever i max out the caster the handling becomes far better and my top speed is improved too due to not needing as much camber, irl (from what ive read) the only limitation is the physical torque needed by the driver to turn the wheel, which obviously isn't relevant in forza. so i was wondering should i just max out my caster on all cars, or if i was just missing something? thanks.

The only problem you can run into with running a ton of caster is that at higher speeds where you don't need to turn the wheel as much to pull the same amount of lateral G's you might not have enough camber. Use telemetry to test, you want camber to peak out in the -0.5 to -1.0 range and certainly never cross into the positives unless you're sliding or on uneven terrain. If you need more camber at high speeds then add camber and reduce caster. If you need more camber at low speeds then add caster and reduce camber. Generally though close to the max is fairly ideal.

That Louis guy in the third race got the karma he deserved by trying to push you off the road 2nd lap and ended up 4th LOL. Same with Ironspear in the last race.

Have you ever thought about using an input display? It would be cool to see how you pull off these things

feel likes even with the best tunes the cars feel like they have way less grip than in 4, feels like 2 or 3 which isn’t a bad thing

Porsche 911 GT2 RS is a strong S1 car too, it just has really great handling. So much that it can be annoying because of how much oversteer there is, you kinda just drift around a lot of corners

S2-Class has many other cars can get below 10 mins. Veneno is possible but very difficult because it doesn't accelerate as quickly.

Grandma, you seriously need to look into the 2016 Dodge Viper. This car is very good in S1

Man such clean meanwhile my racing experience is getting rammed by a car going 100 plus kilometres per hour while taking a 90 degree turn.

@@RacingKitty64 it did happen in one of the races the ghosting happenes very late after getting hit on a 90 degree turn. I was getting T boned on the corners. Idk if this applies to the festival missions which I was doing but there was no penalty for ramming I saw or if there was. I was already more messed up then they where. Forza 5 is still new and there are still some server issues, but I did experience this no doubt about it.

Apparently from my experience the right tune in a c8 makes it an amazing car. I'm not even that good and I can consistently get 1st and second. Only car that I thought was just better was a saleen s7, but I think that guy had something strange going on cuz even after he crashed into a rock he still caught up to me.

@@TheMaGe- I know it's a great car, that's exactly why I don't use it, and that's exactly what the whole lobby that I beat was using. I also love the benz FE truck for off road A class. It's oppressively good at times

Lol this was the S2 "Boogeyman" of Horizon 2, and 3 iterations later you can race it in S1👀

Do you just practice every race for hours until you memorize every corner, or does it all just come to you as you drive?

rally tires on road are like an in between of race and sport, dont have to fully commit for a handling build but still have a better compound for s1 racing

@@silaidey well they did lower the pi by a crap ton cause a lot of cars that made top of s1 in horizon 4 only make it to like 850s to 860s in this one which is probably how the veneno and centenario ended up in s1
