Horsepower determines top speed limited by drag. Torque to weight determines how fast you'll get to that top speed.

Ngl, I’m pretty sad they nerfed the D types top speed just because it’s so iconic.

Sesto FE will remain the fastest in terms of consistency. Top speed related cars are the fastest on straights/light corners. And for skills, well do not forget my boy X5 M. Event XP, can do 276 MPH and turn astoundingly well.

@@MeachPango how is the king back if it does 300 mph? the jesko does 309 and potentially even higher if some better tuners in forza work on the car.(PS: The fastest car in FH3 topspeed wise was the d-type while for drag it was the dart)

The Jesko is the best early game investment to 3 star a ton of challenges. Even with zero tuning, you should be able to ace just about everything requiring speed on pavement. 2.8 million credits is good session worth of nice wheel spins away. Worth the investment.

I noticed Aerodynamics play more of a part in FH5 than previous entries. it is hard getting past that 280 mark in most cars unless they are as aero perfect as the Lotus or Koen

The D-Type will always hold a special place in my heart as something so absurd (iirc 300mph+) including the flappy bit behind your head. If it wasn't so expensive it probably would have been the first car I bought.

Most people pronounce it as For-za anyway though.

I've found the McLaren F1 GT sinks into the ground still, as long as you have aero parts tuned to maximum downforce. It doesn't seem to glitch the game into thinking the car has less drag, though.

F1 GT from horizon 4 was my ducking baby it was SO GOOD. Was slightly disappointed seeing the reduced speed-acceleration, makes the car less well rounded

I just started forza and had unlocked the jesko in a wheelspin but logged off shortly after and it had not saved. :( I'm not sure if this is a issue or the game needs to be saved manually but I was really upset when I had logged on the next morning. I still love the game and the game's community though the devs really deserve a pat on the back for this game. I could not imagine the hours they had put into the game and how frustrating it must have been. Thank you AR12 for the video it was really helpful.

Actually, if you’re in a convoy, you can switch out of race mode while you’re waiting for the event to start up. Just a fun fact.

Managed to get the Jesko in a wheelspin today and absolutely dominated the Goliath with a self made tune (still needs some work as my car is a little bit twitchy in the rear) the top speed is insane!

I think the Apollo IE could put up some handsome numbers to. I didn’t do much tuning mostly final drive and turbos and got 272 still wanting to climb and bouncing on limiter. But I’m no good at turning

I wondered how they would out do themselves. The horizon series has been the game series that continues to be better than the last while each game being the best of the genre at the time of release. Truly an amazing gift to the world.

The sesto elemento forza edition is the 599xx of horizon 5. It’s broken in a corners. You can do Goliath and colossus damn near flat out. I have that tuned does 269 in a straight line but can do 250 around most turns so long as they are not hairpins

DJS made a video of the 15 fastest cars in FH5 and the tuners with share codes! I have them on the 15 cars from the video and they are the fastest cars you can only test on the highway to reach top speed!

Man, I was really looking forward to watching Nick be poor for a little bit, completing races with budget cars. Shame but best wishes for the series

Pretty sure that the evija can give some more juice if it gets better gearing.

use a 10 speed box and this will unlock more speed from the earlier cars you used.

I’m almost close to 25million and about 5 of that it from racing and legit wheelspins. I must say the general income in the game feels a lot higher than fh4

Yep, the letter J has a Y sound in Swedish, but then a lot of people who have English as a first language often base foreign word pronounciation off of our alphabet and letter sounds.

I doubt the actual tire compound will have any effect on top speed -top speed car engineer, approximately NEVER
