This update has really punched above expectations and I’m super excited to see what comes in the next update. Just the name ‘Horizon Moderns’ suggests endless possibilities 😆

This is honestly one of my fav updates for FH5. Been begging for the 635CSI for ages, the Lotus is a great addition and I lov a Citreon BX. And the Countash and Hyundai are cool 2.

I wish they also considered adding the Nissan 300ZX Z31 because the 80's green digital dash would fit perfectly with the theme

I cant believe they added the Hyundai N Vision. Probably one of the coolest looking cars they added yet and i cant wait to unlock it.

This was a welcomed surprise but it would have nice to introduce it with the rumored v8 hybrid power train.

Monster update! Looking forward to driving all the new cars here. Very pleased the M635CSi is returning, I did have that in my hopes list for this update. The Lotus Turbo was in the FH4 background files so glad it has finally appeared in FH5 and I never expected the Citroen BX Group B! The Hyundai and Lamborghini look amazing just like the Retrowave section of highway. Looking forward to next week!

I think it's the first hydrogen car in the forza franchise. I really like this car and the new countach. One of the best updates for sure

Probably couldn't afford the rights to the property or property holders dont want it in forza. Ether ways it would been nice to have but think about licensing that they have to do to achieve it.

@@evandaymon8303 PowerWash Simulator managed to get the rights for BTTF so I don't see why Microsoft/Forza couldn't get it. It probably is some licensing bullshit where the car can't be driven or something dumb like that.

My goodness I never tought in a million years that I'm gonna hear DWTD in a Forza title.

This update is really cool! I'm looking forward to driving the '21 Countach the most.

Slight correction with the Citroen. While yes 200 were made only 86 wete actually sold off before Citroen destroyed the others. So its incredibly rare they managed to track one down

This is completely off topic to what the video is about, but there are some notably bugs that I've encountered when I play FH5. Whenever I go afk, disconnect, and then come back to reconnect to the game, it always reloads the seasonal playlist consistently over and over again even though the game already does so when a new season has begun. Another bug is when you are installing and uninstalling upgrades and you rev the engine up during those periods. The vehicle you're currently upgrading or upgraded tends to only rev to a certain RPM as if it was in launch control mode. There is lag just as the loading starts, but after that when I rev the vehicle it idles at a certain RPM. When doing a Rivals event, when I have a collison just before the next lap (even if it's literally .001 seconds before it) and the lap gets flagged, the game carries over that penalty to the next lap even though it was the lap before. This is very annoying as I now have to, instead of having a completely fresh lap to start, the penalty from the previous lap has carried over to it, and now I have to complete THAT lap to start a new clean one. There are many other notable bugs and errors in the game I'm sure as you know, but these are the ones that I've had the most problems with. I play on a older console, the Xbox One S, but I don't know if that has anything to do with the issues I encounter on a daily basis. There is also the one where the game crashes randomly, but I think that one is a game problem, not particularly a game system problem.

Honestly excited for the Lotus. I remember you would get an 84 turbo variant for completing the mid engine cup in Gran Turismo 4

The new radio station is a missed opportunity, they could have added some 80s stuff to go along with the retro theme. Plus, we already have enough EDM in this game as it is.

This is probably gonna be my favorite update. I'm already planning to make a blueprint using the LazerHawk track, because of a fan made video of some Vanishing Point chases made to it.

Interesting there is no retro theme car pack as past updates included a DLC car pack. Would have been cool to see a retro car pack. It wouldn’t be surprising to see another car pack for the next update if FH5 support will continue before FH6.

If cars where brought back from old forza games then my hope for the Eg6 hatch will continue and I hope it comes with a bunch of modifications like a pandem widebody kit and other tuner parts 🙏🏽

I keep telling people like you to set your expectations properly, but nobody ever listens to me. Everybody's always out there, asking for tons of wide body kits and customization for new cars, when the most we've ever really gotten in these updates has been one wide body kit or one set of parts for a few cars here and there. Those have generally been the exceptions, not the rule. I know that what I'm saying seems kind of pessimistic, but it really isn't. I'm just trying to be honest and realistic with how the game has been updated over the years, and I think most other people should be too. Otherwise, you're just going to end up being disappointed all the time, which isn't a good state of mind to be in.

I'd say. The car voting in forzas forums is pretty accurate to a degree. But I always say "it's just far too random so keep your expectations low to some degree" will say they surprised me a lot with the last few updates here are there but yea.

This dope, i came back to the game and im having a blast, just wished that the online races had more of street racing and circuit since i dont like rally that much.

I don't remember the last time i've been excited for an update!

Has PG removed the thunderstorm that would roll on on occasions during one of the seasons. I remember in the early days of the game the thunder and lightning rolling in over the mountains late in the day. Haven't seen it in the game for months

I'm so happy that the new Countach was finally added to the game.

I've been a fan of synthwave since 2011, so I'm VERY excited for this.

At this point, they might as well introduce under glow for cars and wheel well lights for trucks.

And nothing about the ford GTX or the shelby cobra 1000.

Ok this is officially the best update this year I’ve been waiting for the Bmw shark and the Lotus since I started playing FH5

Not including Nightcall into the music is crazy.

As someone who might get this game on steam summer sale I had a few questions Are the synthwave highway decorations permanent or temporary? And same question for the Hyundai and Delorean car. Like do I have to unlock it through the events or can I buy it afterwards from the shop?

Damn i was actually kinda right i've exspected the Vision N and the Countach in a pack but no these are for free. Its amazing when next series is just like that i can see the Porsche 911 GT3RS 992 or the MC20

The amount of lambo added in fh5 is notable: consudering lambo id my favourite car manifacture im really satysfied

I wish they would add cars to the auto show after the series have finished, I’ve missed out on so many due to not been able to jump in for whatever reason, even finding ones in the auction is a no go

Absolutely love the bx, hope they add more quirky or lesser known vehicles in the future

It's likely because the game would probably crash for people playing on the Xbox One. I don't doubt that they could have done it if the game were exclusively on next generation hardware.

The Xbox one would have a stroke trying to process all of that so that's more than likely why. So they had a choice of a the highway being lit with neons all the way while xbox ones either explode or start smoking like a fireplace or have a small part of it so it works for both.

Yeah, ok. This is great! I was excited when I saw the Hyundai, ecstatic when I saw the Lambo but completely speechless for the M635CSi. Can't wait! Also, a chance to get another 850CSi. Deffo turning this one into an Alpina.

I got to be honest, i wasn't initially happy at the game launch with pre ordering the premium version of the game with how bad the servers were trying to play with friends but with the amount of content that's been pumped out its been well worth it, usually games now are dead within a year yet fh5 still pumps the updates out

so glad the Hyundai was added though I am really annoyed that I'll mis out on the Lambo as I am away that week. "block heads" is when I lost it 😂😂😂😂

12:19 forget the cars (lol) I wanna get the creeper and enderman helmet, but I do want to drive the lotus and the other old school cars
