xbox 360 is a console, not a company.... you can't talk to xbox 360

When you consider the Xbox 360 is a 2005 console, it all becomes so much more amazing though, think how the Xbox 360 started out playing much much lower powered games, and it still managed to handle a game even with these decent graphics so I cannot complain at all, I've got horizon 3 on PC now and its good, the 360 version of horizon 3 (if they made it) would've had to look identical to forza horizon 2 as that's as far as they can push the Xbox 360

Here, how about this. The Horizon 2 map is significantly bigger than the Horizon 1 map. RIght? So with Horizon 1 having such a small map, the 360 can handle the map with some nice graphics. So if Horizon 2 has a bigger map, then the 360 can't handle the map with graphics on a Horizon 1 level. That's why the graphics are worse. Put some logic into it first dude.

I honestly don't agree to that. If you were to compare (for example) Need For Speed Rivals on Xbox 360 to Xbox One (or even PS3 to PS4), you can see that in the prev. gen console the graphics aren't as great, but at least they're pretty close and pretty much all the gameplay is the same. Forza Horizon 2, on the other hand, was just a let down on the 360 compared to the One.

The one thing I'm glad about is the "fast travel glitch" on the 360 that gives you 999 million cr

I'm a bit late to the party, but the extra walls and lack of docks on the 360 for example are basically due to hardware limits. It has to do with collision detection, physics and memory. They might look the same on the surface, but they are actually quite different technically under the hood. Same goes for visual modding, and some physics mods.

The Xbox 360 version is intentionally dumped down to force people believe that they need an Xbone for all the extra stuff as if they couldn't include all that stuff apart from the visuals in the Xbox 360 version.

This may be the case, but why not upgrade? Its been a year and the games will continue to lag in quality. Whether the intention is there or its just he lack of hardware. I absolutely loved the Xbox 360. I'm willing to say its my favorite console i've owned and I've been playing since NES released. I still own 5 Xbox 360's but I also own 2 Xbox One's now.

Each DLC car is like £1.20 or something and a season pass is £40, which saves a lot of money, but is ridiculous when the game is only £20. I've not played Forza (4) for quite some time, so prices may have changed. I noticed that the Horizon 1 season pass is only £16!

Like, Animusic (the creators of "Pipe Dream") have made two DVDs so far and then next will be released in April, hopefully, but they don't seem to be bothered that most people just watch it on KZread instead of buying the thing and they've even uploaded some of their work to KZread anyway.

This is bullshit. Almost all the new stuff could've been added on the 360 version. Even Forza Horizon 1 looked better than this. Like, what was the point in closing off the free roam areas for off-road? I'm pretty sure this is a message forcing 360 players to upgrade in order to access EVERYTHING. This is stupid, including the fact that the docks are open if you pay to get the Fast and Furious DLC.

I'm still having my own debate on whether I should just get Forza Horizon 2 for the xbox 360 and saving 10 dollars, or having to wait for christmas to come and ask my parents to get an xbox one with Forza Horizon 2. I really wanted to get Forza Horizon 2, but when I saw this comparison, I mean I still wanted to get it, but I would prefer to get the xbox one version because there's more stuff that you can do on the xbox one version. I don't have the xbox one, by the way. I don't see why Forza Horizon 2 on the xbox 360 and xbox one are so different. Obviously, the xbox one version would have better graphics, but comparing those graphics to the 360 version makes the 360 version look like a DLC expansion pack for Forza Motorsport 2. Why didn't they just make Forza Horizon 2 exactly the same on both consoles? I mean, Need For Speed Rivals, Battlefield 4, and COD Ghosts are the exact same on the 360 and xbox one, besides the graphics, and those were good games! As for the car list, the Ariel Atom was one of the cars that I was hoping to get my hands on right when I bought the game. But, when I found out that the Ariel was not going to make it to the 360 version, along with 25+ other cars, I was most concerned. The xbox 360 version has 197 cars, while the xbox one version has 220 cars. Why? At least the Lamborghini Gallardo is still able to get on the 360 version, and I understood that the Huracan was going to take my favorite car's place. Looking at the demo gameplay from other youtubers, I've seen that you were able to drive endlessly offroad and drive around large amounts grasslands. But why must there be more barriers on the 360 that prevent you from driving in places that so many people were itching to drive around, such as the golf course? And the weather? Hello? They said that there was going to be weather in Forza Horizon 2, but where is the weather on the 360 version? There was weather in GTA V, Need For Speed Rivals, Midnight Club, Battlefield 4, even Mario Kart! Was it that hard for them to perform something that many other game companies can easily perform? I mean, seriously? It's a shame how different Forza Horizon 2 on both consoles are, even if they're supposed to be the exact same game! Both versions are supposed to offer and reward you with the exact same experience that every gamer wants. Maybe one day, Playground games will learn something from Rockstar, Frostbite, and Nintendo. I'll think I'll be getting Forza Horizon 2 for the Xbox 360, but they need to do a better job if they plan to make the next Forza game for that console, because they were focusing way too much on the Xbox One version.

The XB1 version feels like a whole different game. I have the XB1 version and I played the 360 version at a friends house and it was absoulte shit, it felt like forza horizion 1 with different cars.

360 will be supported until 2016 by Microsoft.. I owned an Xbox One but quickly got bored as nobody I knew had one. 360 regardless of less graphical and performance power still is a more fun machine, and has a much better interface.. I bought Alien Isolation and Forza Horizon 2 on 360 and they are both awesome.

The only bad thing about Xbox One (and PS4) is that right now they don't have very many good exclusives, but that's how Xbox 360 and PS3 started out. 360 didn't even really get any good games until 2007, and 360 came out in 2005.

Thanks for posting this 360 version is missing some minor/major stuff

Additional difference i noticed: - reward boards are scattered slightly differently on xbox 1 and 360 maps. In proximity most of the time but sometimes they are way far apart. - some speed zones are located in difference areas of the map. - not sure 100% but i drove on all roads and found 337/340 and for the life of me cant find the last 3, or they dont exist because of achievements based off of x1 version of map, which includes docks. Once again not 100% on this but im leaning towards it.

Nice video. good work. Iv just recently got Horizon 2 for the 360. it is a fun game. driving style is a tad different. Do you stay in Europe for the entire game? Or do you race in other parts of the world??

the 360 version is a fucking rip off! i bought it thinking it had all or atleast most of the same features as the exbone 1 version! they should really make it clearer that it doesnt!

You have to admit though. For a 10 year old console, 9 at the time of release, it looks pretty damn good.

oh yes definitely, but im not mad about the graphics, obviously they did their best and it would be hard to top it.

You know, there's not really that big a difference. There's definitely improved lighting and reflection on Xbox One. But as far as the core game goes, it's doesn't really seem to be a huge difference.

I know i'm SUPER late but there's a big difference lol. Horizon 2 on the 360 had no online freeroam or tuning which are standard features that shouldn't have been taken out.

Just watching this for nostalgia bc I bought fh 2 for my Xbox one s to play again and Nick's intro hit me hard.... wow...

You can't sell cars on formal 2 on xboxone but you can sell cars on 360

Microsoft has won. I have been defeated. The 360 is now effectively abandoned and I have been forced to buy an Xbox One. I will be getting it after Christmas with this game and this game alone. They shall not take any more of my money... Until the next Forza comes out... Damn you Microsoft... Damn you!

get forza and later get witcher 3, evil within, assassins creed unity and the crew. the crew is a next gen game because the whole map across consist of 80 miles across which is a world record when it comes to video game worlds. gta5 san andreas was only a wimpy 8 mile trip across so imagine the size of 80 miles.

It's a good thing I just got an XBox one for Christmas. Thank you for the comparison because it makes me feel even better that I got this over a 360. Maybe we can race against each other someday.

Isn't it obvious that the reason you can't go certain places in the 360 version is because they couldn't fit everything onto the disc?

i bought the 360 with the digital version of fh2. and now i have the xb1, and in my ready to install list was fh2 for xb1... my question is, how do i get to playground games to play infected??? all i see is free roam..

Strangely enough, there is actually more customization for cars on the 360 version. Like on the r32 gtr you can put a whole body kit and a big Wang (not the forza wing)

Xbox One is shit and can't hold a candle to the PS4. I'm not a fanboy I just know better.

The xbox 360 version is a forza horizon 1 with new cars and map.

Hi Tomcat, one thing there is you missed, which might actually explain some of the Tuning and Upgrades etc, the 360 Version of Forza Horizon 2 uses the Engine of Forza Horizon 1, while the XBone Version of Horizon 2 uses the Forza 5 Engine. That's why you can Tune your cars on the XBone, you can't on the 360. Also the cut of areas and cars might haven been cut off to save space on the disk since it's not a BluRay and they didnt want to go for a 10gb installation patch.

What should i get i mean Xbox 360 has cheap as games that sell near my town. but i have no idea what to get so should i get Xbox One or Xbox 360?

I have the 360 version, and I can tell you there is one thing that bothers me. THERE IS NO F*CKING RAIN.

Its not about money, if I want it I will buy it. Its not about graphics, its just a game, I don't care if I can see the stitching in the seats and its not about having the latest and greatest to impress the masses. It is a about a company, a multi billion dollar company, respecting the people like you and I who buy their products. It is clear that the only thing they respect is the bottom line at the expense of loyal customers and for that reason I will never buy a One. I'll keep my 360 until it is no longer usable and maybe by then, Sony will get it right.

…..I’ve had an Xbox One for years, had Forza Horizon 2 for the 360, haven’t been able to play it for years until I got another 360, and only now am learning that there’s a version that I could have played that was even better- Wow.

I got the 360 version and almost threw it straight out the window when I found out that there was no online free roam.

Funny thing is both console companys (sony and microsoft) all have pros and cons. You move to sony, they'll eventually screw you over some how. Microsoft same thing, not every company is going to be perfect and neat.

I think they may have made the 360 junk compared to the One version on purpose... Conspiracy anyone?

They did. Microsoft partly owns Forza. So they made it that way to sell Xbones. And it has been working...
