A few others commented that it was banned because people kept using the van to intentionally ram everyone else out of the way. I guess they got so many complaints about it that they finally decided "Enough! We're removing this vehicle."

Holy shit, you just gave me the greatest motorsport idea. Everyone races in modified minivans, but they all must carry roughly 7 people, because they are the pit crew. When the minivan comes into the pits for tires and fuel everyone but the driver gets out and does the job of the pit crew, but the driver can only drive off once everyone is back in. Tires and fuel may be stored in an optional caravan trailer being towed during the race.

Ian MacDonald nah dude you want to do it family feud style where it’s literally one family against another. You could even do one rally style where the wife has to act as navigator and call out turns while the kids freak out in the back of a modded offroad minivan. That would actually be a dope show. Give the kids challenges and shit too. It wouldn’t even have to be just racing you could have them go at it in paintball and all types of stuff. Maybe even make brackets where families have to fight families and climb their way to the top to be crowned the ultimate family

All the forza games are fantastic, but they all have one problem. The people who play them. Nobody knows how to use their brakes, and at every corner some one gets smashed it to a wall. They really need to implement a system somewhat like GT sport, so you can avoid getting smacked by dirty players, and so you can avoid them in the first place

If there was flags in game the video owner would be black flagged for disqualification the other guys would also get black flagged that rammed hard. Thats why i stick to raceroom because the community race well. You only get a few dirty players but they shortly get disqualified or get told off by the whole community as actual racing drivers use it. Plus i have no problem racing bigger vehicles as they are fun but i am a clean online racer and real racer. Full flag rules

Nobody can race seriously in forza. I verrrry rarely found a race where no one tried to play bumper cars. I feel like there should've been driving clubs you can get into based on a clean racing record. And if you got into one of the races and tried to troll, you'd be banned from that particular club/community and would have to start over again in the bumper car community.

Yaboi Sugarnips look at the DLC packs... Every one so far has had some kind of SUV or truck in it... just what we want in a 'sim' racing game... GT Sport actually creates there own ideas of racing cars and rally cars, PC2 has the full roster of Official Le Mans cars and many more... FM7 let's give people Chevy Silverado's and pick up trucks even though we are the only game to not include Off Roading of any kind....

yeah and when you tell them that the xbox 360 version of forza horizon 2 has far better online play and balancing than horizon 3, as all wheel drive doesnt ruin everything in that game, they go and shut the servers down on you! and they did that to both horizon 2, and Forza 4 at the same time, like what a bunch of jackasses. It doesn't matter what car someone hits you with, your race is still getting ruined. The problem now, is that rammers will be in more agile, fast cars and it will make it easier for them to hit you. Furthermore, you can tell when someone is ramming by the mega massive vehicles they use... now they just blend in.

Unless you get into it with the ai, which is immovable even if you hit them with a dump truck. Physics are shit in this game now, what with the super stop grass and oil slicked other grass, etc. And I played every release save for horizons after the first was shit. I own up to 6, will buy 7 when I find it for like 5 bucks on Craigslist but won't give t10 anything for it. And that's just because I have the collection of the others. Since damage means nothing anymore, I'm moving to PlayStation and getting back into gran turismo. Of which I have the first 3 titles and the first 2 PlayStation laying around somewhere

Sebastian Perez F6 never got updated as far as I know. If something is old, then at one point it was new. So I think every Forza player cared at one point. I won't buy another one until they drop the "for everyone" garbage. It's another case of coddling the minority and crapping on us actual Forza players. I wanna see the auto brake and steer assist gone, unless in a custom OFFLINE game. They allow that shit online and it ruined it... Then they didn't penalize players for scraping along the wall. It's pathetic.

Try finding different sessions. Sometimes you will get a quiet session or session where people are more concerned with making money than killing. Perhaps try changing your spawn point to a different building, to get you out of the carnage zone.

you have a good knack for picking up an early throttle and using the understeer to your style well. The WRX in race 3 gave some early passing chances to the gambler but i can tell the other 2 races were more reflective of your style - giving very fair, predictable race room. Well done very inspiring. I wonder if you use a wheel? perhaps the lines in race 3 suggests controller with heavy smoothing

You really don't understand how game development works whatsoever. More importantly I'm gonna judge the product, if I paid for food I don't want my chef to tell me "WELL YOU CAN'T COOK BETTER", because that's invalid criticism especially when another chef offers a better product at the price (GT Sports).

Instead of just getting rid of the people, oh let’s just get rid of all the fun cars in the races instead. WHAT IS THE POINT OF ADDING THEM IN!😂

This "realistic racing" games those days should put a option to race in realism mode which if you ram a lot you get banned for life from realism mode and a no-clip, no collision mode where the player could go thru the others cars, instead remove cars and the fun players could have with it. They could make the no clip mode primary as new comers come to the game, and realism mode, a optional choosable mode for advanced players (in other words players that already played the game enough to know this option exist). I mean, you can try to make it "real" but those games ARE NOT, you didn't spent thousands of bucks to get this cars, so you care less than a penny for them, also you will not get charged thousands of bucks to fix your car after it, so the only thing that motivates the people not ram or grief is the seek of simulate a real race. It would be easy and funnier in that way? It's so simple to divide the game like that, so after the griefer rammer get banned from realism, the only mode he could play is a mode where he cant ram and grief at all. Back in time we had games like that and, oh man... It was so fun! So you could top speed! And still not care for ramming another opponent. Now is all about "realism" here "realism" there... If I was a game Dev of realistic racing games, that would be my primary objective. The second would be listen to the players and seek balance from what they demand and what the game really needs.

So..... why exactly is the vehicle banned? It didnt top out too high (140 was the highest I recall seeing) acceleration was meh at best (except from a stop)

Fair play, is it banned or just reclassified to certain races. There was loads of bitchin when i did the same with camper in horizon 2 it couldn't take corners but left everything from a standing start, lol

how do you race anything anywhere when these people rear end you in every turn cause they dont think they have to use the brakes?

I think what Forza multiplayer needs is Gran Turismo 2's collision physics. The cars were essentially tanks and were just nudged in the opposite direction they were hit in. This could lead to other problems and cheesy maneuvers, but at least you can still somewhat be in the race without having to recover from being spun out multiple times as a result of other morons hitting you.

Good collision physics only work well when there is a good racing community to support it... which FM7 doesn't have,it's bumper cars in every corner it's stupid, so have the collisions turned down to GT2 levels online and have full physics in career mode...
