A lot of students may be thinking why we are celebrating clearing prelims. We send anywhere between 400-700 students from our academy every year in the CSE ( not from interview program, and not including free community users ) depending on the year. And we may just be the only academy of choice for rank improvement. But we celebrated this small achievement is because some of these people had spent 5 years or more in upsc cycle without clearing prelims. They are all middle class people, not under previledged - not lacking resources - and they just wasted year after year - upto 7 years in prep, and didnt know what to do to clear prelims. For those of us who have cleared Prelims it may become a small thing after sometime, but for us and them, it was probably their biggest achievement since maybe school. It was also the only thing they were focusing on for past 5 months. The idea was to cut the noise, get them to study and build a good study culture. We expected anywhere between 30-40% selections this year and in five months, we were able to get very close. Also the people that you are seeing, they may look like regular folks, but each one has studied 10-14 hours at least 25 days in a month for the past five months. So they are not your average Joe!

THis is the real meaning of residential coaching. Already built logo ko toh har koi khada krdeta hai but jo weak hai unhe khda krna is what called real training. I gave JAmia milia residential exams many times but they always select those who already wrote mains or reached interview stage. No chance of Pre failures. I myself gave 5 attempts and last year I cleared GS but missed by 4 marks in CSAT. This year again failed. I am preparing full time for UPSC. If ForumIas can allow me into the residential coaching, Please consider.

They will release the frc forms around October after which you have to appear for entrance test and the process continues thereby.
